Dryden has some historical parallels with Bill Durnan in Habs history. Durnan played only 7 seasons, picking up 6 Vezinas along the way. Only 2 Cups, though (Toronto was the best team of his era, between 1943 and 1950.) As a 6'4" goalie in the late 1970s, I naturally took my cues from Dryden. He came up as an octopus in '71, but developed a much more economical style which, as a Bruins fan, was hell to watch. He was so successful, but seldom looked like he was breaking a sweat. Hats off.
sqbooboo - you need a bigger box. There is an indian conection beleive it or not to some comments Dryden made after loosing to the Soviets for the first time. Indian music and movies were very popullar in Russia at the time.
great pictures, but it needed music of a more powerful, french canadian type to bring alive the shots. What the heck does this music have to do with Ken Dryden and the Habs. Had to turn off the sound.
I wasn't born when he was playing,I like hockey and I am told,he was the best, won the calder before he won rookie of the year.. I can see why, y la música es fantástica
Not fond of the music but seeing Mr. Dryden in a Habs uniform with his 2 different masks and resting on his stick brings back great memories! 3:33 and 3:45! Wow! 4:15 is a strange site! I thought Dryden and Mr. Bowman were not on speaking terms!

I like the music. Who is it? Sounds something we used to listen to back on the old country.
Dryden will always be one of the best.
