what kind of color correction or effect was that?

you put two of the same clips on top of eachother

then you make the top one 100% black and white

then you click on the top clip, and you make it "overlay"

then i added it this blur kind of effect, i forget what its called, but as you saw, it enhances the whites

i also use sony vegas 7.0 on my films, but its just like final cut

That is cool, it kind of makes it look like a 35 mm adapter.
