  • flying high

  • BEAUTIFUL!! the slo-mo was very nice, the person taking the video held the camera steady, made it a pleasure to watch! So much better than most!

  • Was flying in some jet stream or something.

  • MEANWHILE IN CHINA

    "INCOMING "

  • Looked like it went a ways downrange.

  • What's the best motor to use if you want to pass 30,000 ft straight up?

  • No worries! You'll be just fine!

  • David Bowie - Space Oddity would have been perfect soundtrack music for that launch. I wonder if you used multiple stages with N-class rockets if you could reach low earth orbit.

  • @drewnwalker There would be a very small chance. Rocketmavericks dot c o m is where the guys who push the limits of this size rockets can be found. After looking around I think you'll see hitting space at 62.5 miles is not quite so simple, but the hobby is fun and one can work to make space possible on the smallest possible motor

  • @VooDooRocketry It's all a matter of guidance and speed...and...*ahem*...customization.

  • @drewnwalker elton john rocket man

  • was it just me or was it going straight down near the end of the vid? cool vid and rocket makes my estes comanche look like a water rocket

  • FAIL...not @ all...that was BEAUTIFUL...thx for the comment, Hey 1 question? @ 47 seconds into the launch...is that when the motor stop thrusting...because it looked to me...it was still accelerating after that???

  • You're correct that flight was not a fail, it was perfect. The thrust stopped in the area of 47 and it coasted another mile or so.

  • Is that a one shot deal??? Or...did u get it back? WOW!!!!

  • Rocketry is instant pass/fail, if you do 1,000 things right you get it back, if you do one thing wrong you FAIL and end up with a post hole full of parts. I only showed the boost and not the recovery as that's the boring part......unless it's coming at you on a FAIL

  • shit, lol, thats one of the best on youtube for sure!!! 10*

  • Jesus that must have been 10000 feet at least

  • what was the height in that flight?

  • I wonder how many people thought that the government was shooting missiles at something

  • What?

  • No one... these are large well planned events.

  • I bet there was atleast one bystander or person who was driving by that thought the military was shooting the rockets, and that they have a warhead.

  • bet u never see it again lol

  • that thing must have landed in another county!!!

  • OH MY GOD !!!

    that was soooooo high !

  • what was the propelant?? Great rocket!

  • Dennis' proprietary formula......rocketeers are very close to the vest on their concoctions. His is a conservative mix of blue and red, so strontium and cupric have to play a part.

  • That was frickin' awesome!!!!!

  • Great motor! Sorry I missed that launch. Bet the color was even better in person.

  • wow what was the altitude on that one
