David Bowie - Space Oddity would have been perfect soundtrack music for that launch. I wonder if you used multiple stages with N-class rockets if you could reach low earth orbit.
@drewnwalker There would be a very small chance. Rocketmavericks dot c o m is where the guys who push the limits of this size rockets can be found. After looking around I think you'll see hitting space at 62.5 miles is not quite so simple, but the hobby is fun and one can work to make space possible on the smallest possible motor
FAIL...not @ all...that was BEAUTIFUL...thx for the comment, Hey 1 question? @ 47 seconds into the launch...is that when the motor stop thrusting...because it looked to me...it was still accelerating after that???
Rocketry is instant pass/fail, if you do 1,000 things right you get it back, if you do one thing wrong you FAIL and end up with a post hole full of parts. I only showed the boost and not the recovery as that's the boring part......unless it's coming at you on a FAIL
Dennis' proprietary formula......rocketeers are very close to the vest on their concoctions. His is a conservative mix of blue and red, so strontium and cupric have to play a part.

You're correct that flight was not a fail, it was perfect. The thrust stopped in the area of 47 and it coasted another mile or so.

Is that a one shot deal??? Or...did u get it back? WOW!!!!
