Nothing especially new but still great. I'm always happy when people are exposed to psychedelic influences no matter what avenue. Just realize that he isn't the first (to do this style) and he won't be the last. Hopefully you'll get into some great psych music cuz of this. It contains all other forms and therefore IMHO is the best :)
If you ever get the chance to see Sufjan live, TAKE IT!!! It will be one of the most amazing concert experiences you will ever have; it was for me. Epic, astounding, exciting, erratic, soft and eerily haunting all at the same time. You will be pressed hard to find a live experience that contains all those moods in the span of 3 hours.
Music can be amazing, unexplainable, unable to be broken down. The way he manages all the voices, instruments, overlayed choruses and treatments, but still ends up with an emotionally affecting song is just unfathomable. Though the cd as a whole doesn't do as much for me as previous releases, songs like this hold up with the best of them. Just....amazing.
This is the only song that I like on the age of adz. It seems like a song that would have been in his All Delighted People EP. Doesn't fit in this album at all. That's why I love it.
IIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiits different now I think

This level of technical compostion and breathtaking vocals makes most music seem like a middle school talent contest.

The first time I heard this song I cried tears of joy. No joke! Especially at 3:40.

@ZwienerZ Right. Things like this make me glad that I didn't check out yet. The beauty more than makes up for the pain.
