@raskec1 they could, but that's a hollywood movie, so it may not have had the most accurate representations of muskets/early rifles. don't get me wrong, it's a good movie and i'm pretty sure it's historically accurate for the most part, but movies are not always the best resources to use when compiling clips that should be 100% historically accurate if you know what i mean.
@VeonThief well then who was he talking to? since the comment doesn't seem to be directed towards anyone else on the video, i can only deduce that he's directing it towards me.
@legendarywar1 the guy in the video said barret as50, the as50 is made by accuracy international, ovbiously he's getting at the video, not you. nowhere in his comment did he come at you but if your going to cuss at some kid watch your own video before you do it.
@Epiphany204 yes, you've grasped the obvious. but as far as telling people it was filmed with a camcorder goes, not gonna happen. camcorder or not, it's still HD, that's all that matters. people don't care what i used to film it, as long as it says HD and the quality looks decent, they're satisfied. you may not be satisfied, but viewers like you make up a small fraction of the people who watch this video. as long as the critics are the minority, nothing needs to be changed.
I don't mind non HD stuff at all but it gets annoying when people say its HD when it's not.
If I take a photo with an old cine camera and then record that film on a tv using an HD cam is that new footage in hd? Technically maybe but the image the viewers see is the same as the old cine cam. You can't make what isn't there....
Why not just leave it as 480p and people who aren't bothered about HD wont care either way and you won't mislead people who do care.
@jasonked1 it is HD. you can crank the video settings up to 1080p. it may look the same, but it was still rendered and uploaded in HD. i really don't care if i "mislead" people who really care about whether or not its HD, if they're choosing to worry about such a small thing on place like youtube then they need to find something better to do with their lives. end of story. if you want to persist with this, i'm going to block you. i really don't have the time.
@legendarywar1 Block me then! I have no desire to discus any topics with someone like you anyway. Was only tying to explain why it's not HD. People like you are too proud to learn off others, I won't waste my time any further.
@jasonked1 and i have no desire to discuss topics with you either. this is an old upload, i don't care if you don't think it's HD and want to throw a tantrum over it, i can't do shit either way. this has nothing to do with pride, this is about people like you who wish to continually pester someone about something they already know about. in case you didn't notice simpleton, you aren't the only one whose thrown a tantrum, so spare me the sobbing. blocked.
@Epiphany204 i can't really understand what you wrote. it is HD. look it up on a youtube search, it will say HD in blue next to the title. if that's not what you were talking about, then try again, and this time be more clear as to what it is you are saying.
the americans didnt introduce a new way of fighting through the use of the rifle... the light infrantry, green jakets and jagers had been using those tactics long before the american revolution
@95thproductions this video hasn't claimed that either of those things were done by americans first. either watch the video and get all the facts straight or don't watch it at all. as a reward for your ignorant comment, i'm blocking you. bye bye.
@whannes it was filmed with a camcorder, thats why the audio is not top notch. also, yes, it is HD. not by default, but you can crank the video settings up to 1080p.
If that guy chandler was in the army, why does he have a USMC sniper shirt? do army and marine snipers go to the same school? did he serve with a marine unit once? IDK
@17GreenLantern it didn't look like he had a usmc sniper shirt to me. it just looked like a skull with words around it that were to difficult to make out.
@legendarywar1 Im pretty sure that skull ur talking about is a bulldog, but im definitely sure I saw USMC on his shirt. Its difficult, but if you can pause it at the right time u can see what his shirt says
this programme pissed me off so much, the AS50 is not made by barrett its made by Accuracy International which can clearly be seen at the start when it zooms in on the gun, as its made by AI its a British gun, those fat american bastards trying to claim the best sniper in the world
@crazyguy8 well its not like the video said "this design was american made and is completely original." it was probably just a big screw up, shit like this happens all the time on documentaries. chill out bro.
@CORWERA so let me ask you something, did you dislike this video simply because you forgot how to turn up your volume? because really, you turn up the volume a bit, and the audio is perfect. i would appreciate a response.
@legendarywar1 no, nice vid, but the audio is a bit frustrating :P i study media and such small things are quite important to get right :P sorry for a late answer btw :P
Thanks for the upload! :)
