@raskec1 they could, but that's a hollywood movie, so it may not have had the most accurate representations of muskets/early rifles. don't get me wrong, it's a good movie and i'm pretty sure it's historically accurate for the most part, but movies are not always the best resources to use when compiling clips that should be 100% historically accurate if you know what i mean.

@Epiphany204 yes, you've grasped the obvious. but as far as telling people it was filmed with a camcorder goes, not gonna happen. camcorder or not, it's still HD, that's all that matters. people don't care what i used to film it, as long as it says HD and the quality looks decent, they're satisfied. you may not be satisfied, but viewers like you make up a small fraction of the people who watch this video. as long as the critics are the minority, nothing needs to be changed.

I don't mind non HD stuff at all but it gets annoying when people say its HD when it's not.

If I take a photo with an old cine camera and then record that film on a tv using an HD cam is that new footage in hd? Technically maybe but the image the viewers see is the same as the old cine cam. You can't make what isn't there....

Why not just leave it as 480p and people who aren't bothered about HD wont care either way and you won't mislead people who do care.

@jasonked1 it is HD. you can crank the video settings up to 1080p. it may look the same, but it was still rendered and uploaded in HD. i really don't care if i "mislead" people who really care about whether or not its HD, if they're choosing to worry about such a small thing on place like youtube then they need to find something better to do with their lives. end of story. if you want to persist with this, i'm going to block you. i really don't have the time.

this programme pissed me off so much, the AS50 is not made by barrett its made by Accuracy International which can clearly be seen at the start when it zooms in on the gun, as its made by AI its a British gun, those fat american bastards trying to claim the best sniper in the world
