Verbal communication = using words?(spoken)?

Non verbal = non-word (not spoken)?

Tend to disagree. Gestures can somehow reflect non-spoken words like shoulder up always mean "I don't know" or thumb up means "good". These gestures are 'verbal' communication. SImply - do it and people understand it is verbal communication.

Verbal means = Spoken or non spoken communication that has meaning to it.

Non verbal means= Act or gestures to enhance spoken communication and subject to interpretation.

@ayjay67 Actually, gestures are ONLY nonverbal communication. They can reinforce, substitute or enhance what is spoken, however, they are still considered nonverbal communication.
