  • excellent footage steve well done mate.andrew

  • @heritagerailfootage . Thanks Andrew , always a pleasure and lets hope for more of the same on the last Fellsman tomorrow. Steve

  • wonderful, cheers.

  • @noelist . Thanks Leon, its the last one next wed so lets hope its dry. Steve

  • Another absolute gen Steve, despite the conditions you still managed to capture stunning images, The driver controller the slip very well I though....Bob

  • @robmasterman . Thanks Bob, strange place to slip but like you say the driver caught it very well . Steve

  • Still a v nice vid. How green it is!!! Sending a Black 5 with 12 on over the Settle And Carlisle line,,,, well, the crew would really earn their pay for the day!!!!

  • @HughFromAlice . Thanks Hugh, a fair load for the 5 and the crew did well with wet and greasy rail conditions. Steve

  • Excellent!! Granted, not the best of days weather wise, but you got the best out of it. And, despite her problems, the crew got the best out of 45231 too. There was some good clag there.

  • @LMSStanier . Thanks David, I agree about the weather but still worth the miles as ever . Regards Steve

  • Nice shots, shame about the weather. Strange it should slip as it got on the level

  • @dragon7552 . Thanks Idris, not the best weather but did not get that wet really and I agree odd place to slip. Steve

  • another great clip ..

  • @Willowfs4472 . Thanks Ken . Steve

  • Great filming Steve in challenging circumstances. And one of life's challenges is trying to film smoothly whilst holding an umbrella in the wind and rain - and you managed it. Well done. Keith

  • @hemerdonbank . Thanks Keith , its not easy as you well know trying to balance a brolly when its blowing a gail and pouring down. I would normally have taken the adapted rain hood I use as it does show the edges when zooming back a bit far but you live and learn. Regards Steve

  • Wonderful, Steve. The conditions were superb for real authentic hill-country working! The wind somehow seemed to accentuate the sound, both in coming and going which was weird!! Great. . . . . . . Alan

  • @balmesh . Thanks Alan , the wind blew the branches into shot at Gisburn and I should have used the Mic in the blimp and put in on the ground away from the wind at Helwith but you live and learn. Steve

  • Excellent video Steve despite the trying conditions. Nothing to beat a summers day on the S & C!!

  • @acw71000 . Thanks Austin, , the weather was awful and I could not see a thing on the M61 but got lucky as the rain stopped at Houghton and Helwith but at Armathwaite the sun was out and the rain just appeared from behind me at Birkitt . Regards Steve

  • Looks like last weeks repairs were a success, the five sounding good. Thanks for sharing Steve a great film ! Brian

  • @782sirbrian . Thanks Brian, the five sounded better but still not bang on though. Steve

  • Thats better Steve. Ditto to what I said the first time. See that there has been a lot of rain up there judging by all the "lakes" in the fields.........Tim.

  • @siobhan104 . Thanks Tim, water water every where as the saying goes LOL. Steve

  • Considerate of the orange people at Helwith to lay off drilling until it had gone past.

  • @AndreiTupolev . Thanks Andrei , I thought that was anice touch but I reckon they just wanted to watch the 5. Steve

  • Well done in miserable conditions at times, Steve, and glad the camera survived the rain at Birkitt. Pleased to see the 5 out after last weeks problems

    regards Mike

  • @rab4472 . Thanks Mike, I had the brolly up and the mic on a lead next to wall behind me but should have known the rain hood would show up as it has before at Birkitt . Steve. Ps the 5 still sounds a bit rough though.

  • A difficult day for filming but great shots and locations for 45231. Graham

  • @gjhooke . Thanks Graham, not the best of days but still worth it in the end. Steve

  • Very nice video Steve, despite difficult conditions.

    Philippe

  • @PhilbruProduction . Thanks Philippe , trying conditions but well worth it. Regards Steve

  • Excellent work Steve in those blustery conditions, four very nice locations showing 45231 off to her best and it looked a bit damp at Birkitt.

    Regards Phil.

  • @981smithy . Thanks Phil , not the best day to film and a few things could have been better but you learn from these things. Regards Steve
