  • it would be great to share a case of beer with these guys

  • Now I feel awesome for being canadian

  • My dad knew a guy who used to leave his beer out on the window sill to chill in the winter, and he would steal them, pour them into his own bottles, fill them with water, and then leave them back on his windowsill. Company gave the poor bastard a free 24.

  • Still great comedy years later

Mouse drunk driving behind the wheel

What I remember was their explanation of metric ( miles to km) - double it less 10 %

A metric 24 works out to 10 zillion beer

Count me in for metric !

  • @KevlarNinja Thanks!

  • @brianalyn13 Your welcome, eh?

  • @rjev there is a lot of hot canadien chicks that i cant judge its just that we americans miss the king of pop so much that with justin beiber we'll be worried the next generation might forget about Michael, and the the reason why a lot of people hate justin beiber

  • @FutureDJHero I don't miss Michael Jackson at all. It's better Wacko is dead, even though it would have been funny if Wacko tried to molest Bieber. That wouldn't happen unless Wacko was into Lil' boys who look like teenage Dykes.

  • i just got back from my 4 week holyday in canada and having the worse jetlagg of my life... ...eh!

  • @noobinstyle jet lag? Where do you live?

  • I'm from Canada, and I love these guys! It's healthy to be able to laugh at cliches your culture can be known for, when done in a satirical way.

  • @Fangmeier totally. i find it hilarious when some people come up to me and are all like 'so you're from Nebraska? do you miss THE FARM? how much corn do you grow?", and then they're all shocked when i kick their butt in Soul Caliber and give them my email address.

    stereotypes are funny.

  • @Fangmeier yeah, i'm canadian too, and i love laughing at canadian stereotypes.

  • The Fonz totally ripped us off

  • @joethehero2 yes

  • @UglySean fuckin eh, eh?

  • soooo funny,EH!

  • I love the skewed scale of Canada!

  • Proud to be Canadian eh?

  • why do they call there beer 2.4.?

  • @shaneinkster because it comes in a case of 24. For example; "like, let's get a two four, eh ?". Or; "oh man, I drank a whole two four last night and I got a serious hangover".

Now, you might be asking yourself wtf Canadians buy two fours. Well, it's very simple. It's so bloody cold out you ain't coming back from the store with anything less. That, and when friends come over they don't wanna go back out into the cold and usually over stay their welcome.

  • @attilahooper thats why you invite friends over, so they will bring the beer, you dont have to drag your frost bitten ass outside, especally when it hits -30

  • @newfiemale25 yeah, but the hosers ~always~ end up trashing yer pad. cigarette swilled beer is that last thing I want in my carpets, and I'm not even a neat freak.

  • @shaneinkster because it comes in packs of 24 beers. we call the box of beers a 2-4 :)

  • This American loves Bob and Doug McKenzie!

  • i was trying to figure it out lol us canadians are stupid

  • @Blakekx80 Lie. Not all of us Canadians are stupid. We had to have some kind of ingnuity to come up witht he zipper, ginerale (to go with our whisky), IMAX, Insulin, the Jolly Jumper, the lightbulb? Yahtzee? The Canadarm? the chocolte bar? Oh, and our wonderful beer cases wth handles big enough to fit your hand in with mittens on. :D

  • @Testement117 when is SCTV going to comedy network?

  • @brand1234455 Sometime this fall, I don't know. I just saw a commercial for it.

  • Comment removed

  • lol fail 6x24 = 6x4 and 6x2....6x4=24 and 6x2=12 scence 6x2 is 20 then 6x20 is 120 and you add the 24 so 6x24=44 so yea he was right just wanted to make sure. =)

  • @zomgpured typo 6x24=144 sorry

  • i love how some american's actually think canadian's talk like this

and what's better - the fact that this is essentially making fun of american stereotypes of canadian's haha

  • @JaredPelletierFilms actually there are a lot of Canadians that talk like this... It has very little to do with Americans, Canadians are the best at creating their own stereotypes.

  • @bluewools i've never heard a canadian talk like this in my life.

i have, however, heard a number of people from North Dakota and Minn speak just like this. Newfoundlanders don't even sound like this

  • @JaredPelletierFilms Drive Highway 17 and Highway 11 through Ontario. As for North Dakota and Minnesota, that the same accent as southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba. It's small town accent, not an urban one. As for Newfoundland, if you visit you'll find the dialect, changes throughout the province, with a lot of people in St John's not having much of an accent at all. Also if you have the chance visit the Ottawa valley, some aspects of the accent are quite similar.

  • @JaredPelletierFilms Newfoundlanders have their own language. haha. And I've never heard a Canadian speak like this either... though... we do say 'eh' a surprising amount. On occasion.

  • @MySkyStudios Lol my grandpa has the thickest Canadian accent. He's from the Yukon (Canada-to-the-max) and everyone there talks like this magnified. "Oh hey dere graindson, ready to go moose huntin eh?"

  • Bob,and Doug,,the Canadian Cable Guys.(Canadians are generally more intelligent, and educated than USA,however, there ARE exceptions!!!)

  • I'm an American and I love Canada!

  • Canada is the best eh

  • Happy Canada Day, hosers!

  • @GiantsHky Sounds good eh!

  • That's 96 (kinda) free beers, eh.

  • I was at a pastor's conference and there was a couple from Canada. We were eating together, and they were eating fried chicken. The wife looks at the husband and says, "that's good chicken there eh?" I immediately thought of these guys and it took everything not to laugh

  • strange brew is classic...hose head flying... my brother's drunk eh...take off hoser...thats no goal,he was in the crease!!!

  • @dkitty8124 Electric shock therapy was classic.

  • HOSER EH

  • Canada rocks eh!

  • Second largest country (next to Russia) in the world eh

  • can anybody help me...... sometime in the late 80's these two guys were in a movie playing these characters. anyone know the name of the film ?

  • @markdangerman Strange Brew

  • @markdangerman That was "Strange Brew", you hoser it was a beauty

  • @beagle379 oops somebody had already replied to that, that's what happens you stuff 6 mice into 6 beer bottles, drink the resulting cases in one evening and then post youtube comments. I end up looking like the hoser.

  • @markdangerman you might have already figured it out, but the movie is called Strange Brew.

  • Canadians will do anything for free beer, woo.

  • these guys should have been at the olympics!

  • 144 beers, eh. Jeez that's a lot of beer you hoser.

  • lmao !!!!

  • it is 144

  • i love that intro song

    "KOOO LOO-LOO-LOO loo LOO-LOO-LOOOO

    kooo LOO-LOO-LOO loo LOO-LOO-LOOO

  • ....hehehe, eh? :)

    eh?

    yeah, eh?

  • What a great show. Eugene Levy, John Candy, Rick Moranis etc..... Loved it to death !!! Good day eh'

  • Seriously, every one of the cast of this show were comic geniuses. Whoever did their makeup was a genius, too, they could make them look like practically anyone.

  • actually it is 480 bottles of beer eh!

  • But like a metric beer, you double it and add 30, so you get like 32 metric beers, eh.

  • Learn to DOWNLOAD FROM ANY TUBE SITE @ YouTubeTrick[.]blogspot[.]com

  • LMAO ... I haven't anyone call a 24 case of beer a "square" in years. And they did used to say that. That's it--I'm goin' to the beer store and I'm gonna ask for "a square of Canadian." They'll know.

(Unless they flunked outta grade 6 too....)

  • I still remember watching this.

Classic moment. And I've tried this too, it works :D

  • lolz

  • i love the mckenzies! well, rick moranis and that other guy, i forgot his name...oh! dave thomas! i wish they'd come onto tv now and internationally. i'd love to watch them on saturdays, or maybe even fridays!

  • He says "Gross me out on the air eh?"

Obviously he worked out that the answer was 144 (ie. one gross).

    LOL

  • ahhh take off EH, YOU HOSER!

  • That map in the back is hilarious, America is really small and Canada is huge.

  • Canada is actually bigger than the USA.

  • I know, but they still make the USA smaller

  • Yes. That is certainly true, and a good trick.

  • Ummm - nope, that's about the size of it.. Maps in American schools make the USA look larger as a matter of course - if you want proof, just go to google maps my man!

  • actually that is false... it is impossible to get proportions correct on a 2d map depending on the kind of map it is and what the center focus is... usually if it is a map of the world then the land nearest the poles is much larger in proportion to those nearest the equator... also, look at alaska... thats ridiculous

  • Impossible huh? Ever heard of the Winkel tripel projection?

These are using the mercator projection - which everyone uses, because of it's accuracy for plotting courses... Google maps included (my little joke - I take it you're American - hence u didn't get the irony...)

  • yes... its even impossible then... and the mercator projection is the exact map i was referring to that distorts sizes as you head north or south

  • Let's get that straight - the PROPORTIONS (Not the magnetic headings) are not correct on the Winkel projection???

  • its a comedy show about canada, obviously there gonna make it look bigger. holy pull the rod out of your ass for about two minutes

  • guess what. canada is the second largest country in the world. why would we have to make it look any bigger? :3

  • @MahDeFuddi

    I think it's: "they're..."

  • thanks for that. Are you one of those nerds who searches youtube for spelling mistakes. Get a life

  • On the distorted map, or on a real globe? ^^

  • Canada is bigger than the USA, in area. But, they do also make Canada a little bit bigger in that map. As jwc7215 mentioned, Alaska is clearly smaller than it is on a regular map, and in proportion in area to Canada. Not a great deal, to be honest, but it is there.

  • on a globe, the proportions should be fine, as with a "Winkel tripel projection" - the mercator projection was invented so that people could navigate along lines of magnetic heading - it falsely magnifies things as you move away from the equator - but your heading stays good(ish)

  • @TheBestPrevail And better ;)

  • @TheBestPrevail And were did that get them?

  • @TheBestPrevail Heck yes Canada is bigger than the states. Only Russia is larger.

  • @MySkyStudios

    Indeed.

  • @TheBestPrevail yeah but it's mostly snow & hockey sticks

  • @TheBestPrevail canada might be bigger but USA is WAY more populated. just california has a bigger population than all of canada.

(i mentioned cali cause thats where I live. )

  • @megamindstorm101

It depends which species we're talking about.

  • @megamindstorm101

California may be more populated than Canada. But Canada has a higher educated population than the entire United States.

  • @kival71 yeah thats because american schools are horrible and canadian schools are some of the best. But people cant get mad at americans in general or say americans arent smart because I had no choice in what schools iwent to. and out of the whole like 4 million in canada about 500,000 are not very smart leaving you with 3.5 million and I am sure out of the 307 million in the us 3.5 million are smart :P but ratio wise the canadians may be smarter over their population.

  • @megamindstorm101 i mean canadas 33 million. which is about 2 million probably arent the smartest in the world.

  • @megamindstorm101

I wouldn't say Americans aren't smart, that's a prejudgment. Afterall, its the US that's most responsible for sending ships into space and inventing or improving most of today's technologies. We're all just as smart as anyone else. But the education systems are different in both countries. Canadians love to make fun of Americans, but as far as neighbors go, we have the best neighbor we could ever ask for. Could be worse... could be --insert name of country here--.

  • @TheBestPrevail well Duh no one knows thesecond biggest country

  • @Theakker3 go on google maps it's true

  • We don't have time for you to do your Math!!!!! LOL!!! Hysterical!!!! This is a CLASSIC!!

  • take off, eh

  • "I don't have my calculator" LOL

  • Oh yeah, this was the FIRST tiem I knew what Canada was. I was 10yrs old when this came out on SNL. Until I was 24, I never met a Canadian and thought they talked like this!!!!!!

    LOL

  • You sure it wasnt Second City TV?

  • You're right, it is SCTV

  • some do

  • This isn't SNL.

    It's f*cking SCTV.
