first time i loaded this up, it claimed the video was no longer available. it worked ok second time but i thought i'd just warn the person who posted it, in case other people are having the same problem.
Annie Hall is their masterpiece, but Love and Death is IMO the funniest Allen film and he and Diane are both hilarious in it. Sleeper is also slapstick fun. Manhattan is considered his other masterpiece, Diane plays the anti-Annie Hall in it though. Woody Allen made a lot of great films over the years but my faves are the one with him and Diane they were made for each other, their chemistry is brilliant.
i am 14 and this is my first woody allen movie, but i can see the genius within the movie and within allen. i love great comedy, and woody allen is one of the best at delivering it.
I'm 14 as well. My first Allen film was Bananas(very funny) and I watched it when I was around 11. My favorite is Hannah and her Sisters but I loveeeeee Annie Hall.
14? get ready to live my friend. great writing always beats the other disciplines. I mean you need lighting and.... Look up Woodys last interview on NPR's Fresh Air with Terry Gross.
im 15 but ive been watching woody movies since 8th grade first one was love & death thats great. i have seen a bunch since then. ive concluded annie hall is one of the best.
"im 15 but ive been watching woody movies since 8th grade"
...Wow, that covers an enormous timespan!
Anyhow, good for you for having some taste. I recommend Zelig if you haven't seen it. It was the first Allen movie I saw way back in a freshman film class (half your life ago) and I have loved his work ever since. Zelig isn't really like his other stuff, although the comedy is cleary his own. It is probably on youtube. Take The Money and Run is another lesser known Allen great.
yes i have seen zelig um just a couple months ago. i loved it! i thought it was how it transformed himself to fit in i know how that feels. poor guy. it was just so kewl! take the money and run is funny but its not one of my faves. wow ive seen alot of his films. o.O
Thanks for posting the movie Annie Hall. This brings back lots of memories when I was 19 years old and I first saw it. I am 50 now and it seems like yesterday. Woody Allen was and is one of my favorite comics, writer, actor. Thank you so much.
what is the song annie sings from 7:48. it's gorgeous. this film really cracks me up. :)
