  • what is the song annie sings from 7:48. it's gorgeous. this film really cracks me up. :)

  • I've been killing spiders since I was thirty, ok ! lol

  • I always laugh out loud at his "black soap" comment: "What, are you joining a minstrel show?"

  • The perfect way to kill a spider... LOL

  • "What are you expecting? Termites?"

    :D

  • is Diane Keaton really singing in this scene or is it voiced by someone else? lovely voice.

  • why would anyone take the time to post a comment in the middle of a great film? sheesh

  • because some people have to stop and buy milk or pick up their kid at school..

  • Would you like a glass of chocolate milk?

  • "Why don't you get William F. Buckley to come over and kill the spider?" Sometimes you can see the lines coming from a mile off and still you laugh.

  • I relocate my own spiders very well... LOL

  • she favours katie holmes

  • I was going to say you are crazy but then I looked at a picture of Mrs. Cruise and she does look like Diane in the singing scene.

  • "What am I? Your son?"

  • "I've been killing spiders since I was 30."....LOL...:)

  • Did it achieve total heavyosity?

  • "Just remember me as Joey five cents!" " what a asshole" LMFAO

  • William F. Buckley would have likely debated the spider to death.

  • I heard Diane was embarrassed by this scene, I think she sounds fabulous, and looks amazing!

  • I love it! and didn't know Diane sang that nicely!

  • He's a genius. I hope my films will get even a quarter this good.

  • black soap what are you joining a minstrel show? i laughed so hard at that part.

  • Man, she's nice lookin'.

  • "Alvy was there somebody in your room when I called you?" - "What do you mean?"

:D :D :D lol Just like the girls I know... cant believe it!

  • lol, yes my friend.

  • Thank you for uploading this!

  • I've been killing spiders since I was thirty... :)

  • "don't worry!" I love how he says that.

  • "Are you expecting termites?"

  • I never realized how amazingly directed this is. the pace is so unique, god and I thought I couldn't love this film any more than I already did.

  • first time i loaded this up, it claimed the video was no longer available. it worked ok second time but i thought i'd just warn the person who posted it, in case other people are having the same problem.

  • many gaps? there aren't any! i sure! the entire movie is here!

  • why are there are big gaps between each part uploaded?!

  • diane keaton was so beautiful. is she really singing in this?

  • 00:49 the pictures of alvy with the lobster are on the wall behind him :)

  • Did he make any other movies with Diane Keaton?

  • Yeah, loads.

Play It Again, Sam - Sleeper - Love & Death - Interiors - Manhattan - Manhattan Murder Mystery

  • Love & Death and Sleeper are hilarious, and Manhattan is gorgeous. But there's no one quite like Annie...

  • Annie Hall is their masterpiece, but Love and Death is IMO the funniest Allen film and he and Diane are both hilarious in it. Sleeper is also slapstick fun. Manhattan is considered his other masterpiece, Diane plays the anti-Annie Hall in it though. Woody Allen made a lot of great films over the years but my faves are the one with him and Diane they were made for each other, their chemistry is brilliant.

  • "What, are you expecting termites?"

    The story of my life.

  • I was a lot more attractive when the evening began!!!

A spider the size of a Buick!!

    Genius!

  • i am 14 and this is my first woody allen movie, but i can see the genius within the movie and within allen. i love great comedy, and woody allen is one of the best at delivering it.

  • you are gonna see this film again and again.. when 25.. 35.. after 40.. and it will get better every time

  • amen to that.

  • I'm 14 as well. My first Allen film was Bananas(very funny) and I watched it when I was around 11. My favorite is Hannah and her Sisters but I loveeeeee Annie Hall.

  • Recently I saw Vicky Christina Barcelona, good movie, but THE FUNNIEST Woody Allen picture would be Sleeper, that movie is hilarious!

  • I'm 14 too, and it's my 1st Woody Allen movie, and I agree, this is great. :D

  • wow, you like woody Allen at 14, you'll be reading shopenhauer at 16 !

  • 14? get ready to live my friend. great writing always beats the other disciplines. I mean you need lighting and.... Look up Woodys last interview on NPR's Fresh Air with Terry Gross.

  • yeah, i first saw this when i was 14 too, now i'm 16 and i'm going through the films of woody allen's hero, Ingmar Bergman.

  • bergman's films are some of the best ever made!!! ah....

  • im 15 but ive been watching woody movies since 8th grade first one was love & death thats great. i have seen a bunch since then. ive concluded annie hall is one of the best.

  • Yeah Annie Hall is my favorite, Love & Death was good too haha.

  • i guess annie hall is my fave but i really luv hannah & her sisters and deconstructing harry.

  • Oh never watched those, I guess I'll have to netflix them haha. :P

  • oh yes diffentally. :) i just saw deconstructing harry easily when of his best.

  • "im 15 but ive been watching woody movies since 8th grade"

...Wow, that covers an enormous timespan!

Anyhow, good for you for having some taste. I recommend Zelig if you haven't seen it. It was the first Allen movie I saw way back in a freshman film class (half your life ago) and I have loved his work ever since. Zelig isn't really like his other stuff, although the comedy is cleary his own. It is probably on youtube. Take The Money and Run is another lesser known Allen great.

  • yes i have seen zelig um just a couple months ago. i loved it! i thought it was how it transformed himself to fit in i know how that feels. poor guy. it was just so kewl! take the money and run is funny but its not one of my faves. wow ive seen alot of his films. o.O

  • Thanks for posting the movie Annie Hall. This brings back lots of memories when I was 19 years old and I first saw it. I am 50 now and it seems like yesterday. Woody Allen was and is one of my favorite comics, writer, actor. Thank you so much.

  • 5:33!

  • this clip truly captures the euphoric feeling of romantic love...The best!

  • great movie

  • Diane Keaton is great!
