What does glycerin do for your hair?

it's a moisturizer humectant... meaning it pulls the moisture from out of the air and into your hair. It can by drying if you dont live in humidity... but it's cool if you spray if you use it before u bathe and use them steam from the shower!

Thanks luv! It really took that long? I use conditioner to help loosen my hair from the yarn... last time I had them me and best friend had them out in 45mins.

omg i didnt even know that was possible.how long do y ou leave them in? does it have a different effect on your hair as appose to the hair extensions??

MissNomiDee- im gonna leave mine in for 6 weeks. As for the difference between using yarn vs braiding hair, the yarn is very absorbent and can leave your hair dry so it is best to keep your hair moisturized while in braids.

great! so they just like micro braids w/ paying less money for hair..big come up!..lol thx for answering in so promptly. I will be trying these soon..Oh another question have you ever use a chair to do your measurements? or you just cut the length you want braid to be?

What I do is cut really long strings at first, and then I braid down. When I get the length I want, I knot it and cut off the excess. Let me know how they turn out when you do them!!

MusicLova84- girl yes... Im so broke I cant afford 2 hav somebody braid my hair if I wanted 2. My bestfriend is an african braider n she only charges me $100 for $200 braids... I cant even afford half off right now lol
