  • parts-express(dot)com?

  • you break a speaker in by simply...using it.

  • Or you could have broken it in when it's installed in the box and make a ton of noise and have angry neighbours!

  • Hey mate,

Love the videos and the build. How much power is going to that 15"?

Any chance you could PM me the plans of the box. I would love to build one of these.

    Thanks

  • how do you break a speaker in properly?

  • So how long did you do the break in for? 4 hours. I just did broke in my Kappalite 3015LF for 4 hours yesterday, going from 20hz to 45hz @ 20.89volts yesterday.

  • really nice driver man.... it will appreciate being run in like that.

  • "breaking in" is that really necessary?

  • @fabiuh991 yea, if you dont break them in and push the full rated power to the sub when they are brand new you can easily damage the woofer. the spider and surround are verry stiff so the voice coil has to work way to hard to push the cone

  • @12vinny95 hmmm i see, it makes sense =)

    thanks

  • @fabiuh991 yeah man, no prob..check out my vids if you get the chance. i have 2 15's in my house=] pretty cool

  • How many times did you run that sweep through the sub?

  • Nice breaking in setup! :)
