I'm finding a song of Alamgir but i don't know the name of the song but i saw the video (which was played in PTV programs on old music)of it & i can describe it.

Well, the style of music is rock & i think Alamgir was holding a guitar and there was his band. i think it was taking place in a concert & possibly in the 80s.

i heard waheed murad [actor] but not much about ahmed rushdi! Didn't know it was sung by ahmed rushdi. the song was famous and i heard it when moeen akhter played a woman in a drama in 90 or so lol..

the original is a classic but the alamgir one isn't bad since alamgir had some sur as evident in his other songs.. If you want to see butchering of songs, go check up on "aap jaisa koi" by indians now...

Alamgir was a very capable singer. But this song was composed a certain way with a certain mood in mind. Same composition and lyrics in Alamgir's voice makes it incomplete and lacking in character. It becomes just another pop-ish song. Song was composed for Rushdi and he understood it too well. It's always impossible to redo a classic.
