  • Es Igual a Mi!!

  • at 4:42 they like cheetahs

  • cool!

  • i think he means just focus on the length of your stride. like maybe continue to improve your stride length...like the way i coach, i try to make sure i get my sprinters to maximize their stride length first, making sure they are power force into the ground right underneath them and driving their knees up and forward...then after i feel they have gotten that, i emphasize their stride rate. that's just what i think and do

  • Does anyone know how long a typical training session is for these sprinters.

    1 hour a day?

Do they train everyday, or have rest days or light days?

  • 1 hour a day??? LOOOOOL! At less 3!

  • wow!

What is the best book or source to learn exactly what they do each day during these three hours?

I must say, I will I was a sprinter, then I probably wouldn't be carrying around all of this excess fat.

  • Sprints, stretchs, gym.

  • well...stretch, sprint, gym

  • 3 hours a day and 6 days a week

  • @EVOS2DEWEREL lol no not everyone most athletes train more

  • @EVOS2DEWEREL it's not that bad consider running is his career. most people have to work at least 8 hrs :). And if u enjoy it, training is never like a burden.

  • bolt says he trains 3hours a day, 6 days a week. but its extremely intense 3hr sessions.

  • b4 i entered d army .. d ideal training would be 2-3 sessions a week. each sesson about 2-4 hrs.

  • each stride should longer. i believe thats what he meant

  • Reading The Description, And i most say That Looks like a Paul Francis explaining train techniques ..Lol Man in yellow

  • alright. "I tell you something..." love his accent. I've met him before with our track team. really cool guy. thank god i'm a sprinter!

  • i don't understand why they (thumbs downed) my comment, i have there typical training routine right here!

  • love his fucking accent

  • Ha ha, notice the examples he uses at 2:21. Mary and Jane. Ha ha, I guess that gets in your head when you live in Jamaica... LOL

  • haha yeha i thought the exact same thing! lmao

  • so they do the run throughs..active strecthing wit sum drills..then mobilzation and drills and den race/train?

    6468lee??

  • Active stretching involves run throughs, drills and stretching for 5 seconds or less at a time(don't hold your stretch too long before racing).

  • o i c. i thought da drills were dynamic stretching...?

  • ACTIVE=DYNAMIC

  • gatcha. da terminlogy be different but i c.thx!

  • passive stretchin dune only after da workout/race?

  • Passive (holding the stretch for 10 or more seconds) is recommended after racing or training...yes.

  • @6468lee I know someone was saying that it should be the run throughs and then the active stretching and then the drills...but I have been doing like a couple run throughs then some active stretching with drills incorporated..Whats the most effective way? I didnt see it really in the video

  • @Gin2312002 @Gin2312002 Actually, it is not simply about the name of the exercise but the purpose of it. You can do it in any order as long as what you do FIRST ensures that the muscles are warmed up properly before getting into strenuous work. a 'run through' is a form of dynamic stretching as well as a 'drill' can be used for dynamic stretching. If your drill is to be a technically sound and strenuous feat, then do it only after you are properly warmed up and firing.

  • @6468lee ok i hear what your saying

  • @Gin2312002 yes because the dynamic warmups and stretches prepare your muscles for quick twitch movements.after you have finished your workout or race, the passive stretching helps to cool it down and promote recovery, like he said it "weakens the muscle".its just a better choice AFTER a workout

  • Negão ai corre ;D

  • 3:49 and me all happy! :)

  • love this.. parrt 4?

  • next year for sure...

  • 2 to 3 times a day,probably about 1-2 hours, 5-6 days a week.

  • how long do they train for a day? Maybe he said that but i might have missed it.
