  • They should reopen the lines it would bring loads of money in to the area and make a lovely route, better than the buses which are late! I love these film , i had a feeling there was some sort of branch line driving round St Agnes and Perranporth!!

  • This is amazing! I used to travel on the Chacewater-St Agnes- Perranporth section a lot when I was a boy and used to watch the trains form Presingoll House, next to what is now Presingoll Barns.

    In the 1970's, I lived "Up Country" in Essesx and made a model layout form Mount Hawke to St Agnes, but never finished it as I was moving back down to Cornwall.

    I still have some pjotos of the model of St Agnes, though.

    Such a sad end to a lovely little branch line!
