Part # 942547, 2.5" Center inlet, offset outlet. The tailpipe is all stock. The stock muffler just needs cut out and the flowmaster needs welded in. You will probably need a short length of 2.5" pipe to fill the gap left by the length difference between the stock muffler and the new one. This is the Flowmaster Super 44. It is loud inside and outside, so if you don't like having a drone in the cab as you drive, don't get it.
do you have the part #? have an 05 colorado and can't find super 44 to match it? it is an i5 z71 as well. also what is the inlet/outlet configuration?
did you order the muffler? if so what part number was it? i cant find the one that goes with 2005 z71 i5... is it inlet center, outlet offset? becuas the way my stock muffler is dosnt match the ones they show...
The muffler will need a little while to break in. At first it will sound a little bit louder but not so "throaty." After 500 miles or so it will start sounding like this.
Hey is everything else about ur exhaust stock? Like the cats n headers?
