  • I bought Body on Tap at the Vermont Country Store,,they have Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific, Lemon-up and all kinds of old products....fun fun... I miss the Vidal Sasoon products they smelled so good!!

  • Christina is just gorgeous! She is stunning to look at. I may buy some of this.

  • Yes, this is my favorite era of hair commercials.

  • It's so nice to see natural texture hair in a commercial. Instead of now where it has to be stick straight and abnormally gleaming shiny.

  • @BlankParty you forgot it also has to be three different colors and fried to a crisp...this seems to be the new trend

  • Still for sale, just different bottle and packaging

  • It really wasn't all that great. Look what it did to MY hair...

  • I remember it being a thrill to buy it because I was underage! LOL!

  • Vermont Country Store has a web site. Just do a search & you can find it. I can't seem to post it here. They have a lot of old products that used to be on the market--like some fragrances. Some people say they don't smell the same but I haven't ordered any of the old colognes but it's worth checking out.

  • anyone remember impulse body spray and if somewhere it is still made?

  • @mohawksaresexy2 It's still sold in the UK

  • is that Christina Ferrari?

  • @jettex30 -yes, thats her.

  • did it really work good for anybody that used it? is it still around? cause i'd try it!

  • I used to use it. But when I used it, I would wash my hair at night, dry it and sleep on it to flatten it out because I have wild fluffy hair after its first washed. I don't remember it making my hair all full of body like Christina Ferari's but it sure made it smell good. Another one I loved was Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific!!That smelled so, so, good. Body on Tap and Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific were my main shampoo/conditioners.

  • unfortunetly it hasnt been around for a long time. i used it, i liked it, it smelled good too. i also really liked this shampoo called earth, and there were 3 more in the series, earth, wind, fire, water. dont know why these are all gone.

  • @mohawksaresexy2

    it was called earthborn.

body on tap had a killer smell. i last used it in 1985.

now everything smells like personal products used in a hospitals on a tropical island--they stink.

mid 1980s was a great time to use personal products. never realized personal products and music would become so gross.

  • i remember my boyfriend, Kelly wore this in 1978, he and i lost track of eachother. anyhow he found me online all these years later...ironically we are both long divorced. we have been talking. i reminded him of this sexy smelling shampoo.

  • You can still get this through the Vermont Country Store, but the bottle isn't the same.

  • really? is it a web site? i want it

  • I loved this shampoo!

  • You can still buy it at The Vermont Country Store website but you'll pay though your ass for it. It's about $14 a bottle, plus S&H! Still, I'm thinking of buying it. Wanna see what the fuss is all about.

  • Loved this product................

  • there was a shampoo that contained beer, from 1977-79. i remember it as a kid. can anyone over 36 help me with this one, maybe a picture if you have one? it would partially make my magical mystery tour of my youth complete. thanks.

  • this is the shampoo as far as i remember. body on tap. it was good for me. but our hair has changed thanks to our environment so it may not be the same. do you remember the shampoos called earth, wind, fire, and water? 4 digfferent kinds, same maker?

  • Wow! As soon as I read that, I could remember the SMELL of all four of those shampoos! I would buy all the shampoos they used to make: Vidal Sassoon, Fabergé Organics, Agree, Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific (lol!), the balsam conditioners...

  • Yes, I used to buy all the shampoos too including Farrah Fawcett, Milk plus 6, Tame creme rinse and on and on. In the 70's my mom would give me my allowance and I would RUN to the Drug Fair drugstore and spend hours in the hair aisle smelling all the different ones. I'd be broke by the time I left the drugstore. Shampoo's and conditioners of today don't really have a strong smell to scent your hair as they did back then. I miss that, and the 70's.

  • lookit that vintage Flex bottle. great stuff.

  • I'm 34 years old now, and I remember seeing ads for Body on Tap when I was little!:)

  • When I go back in time I'm going to choose Body On Tap shampoo because it is loaded with beer. Whatever happened to the shampoo that was fortified with weed? I will never use that damn shampoo from the '80's that had coke in it.

  • This was a great shampoo.

  • I used to use Body On Top when I was a kid...in fact, I remember when this, plus the other 2 or 3 shampoos they named in this were pretty much the only shampoos on the market!

  • Thanks! I'd been hoping that someone would post one of Cristina Ferrare's Body on Tap commercials.

It'd be great if someone could post her Max Factor makeup ads as well.

  • I use Body on Tap! Thanks, Vermont Country Store!
