Not by gaga, but some artists like Britney, Rihanna, have sold certain albums and singles that have sold faster, more. So Madonna is the queen in her own sense, but other girls have given her a run for the success. Britney is probably the closest in terms of being anywhere near Madonna in records

Britney also sold over 1.4 million in a week, so it did set the fastest selling record from a female in first week. Rihanna is mostly digital sales, yes. But still more than gaga apparently

I don't get why people say born this way was copied from this. Their are similarities but they're not that major. Like in this song yes their are parts that sound like born this way. But the tone is very off, the beats are much more higher, the meaning is different, The chorus is much much more higher than in born this way. the similarities aren't so big.
