I would argue that SP is better than Clarity, not as popular, but better. Maybe it's the popularity that makes Clarity seem better, more people to disagree with that statement.
Be patient with this song, it's not too great the first time, but gets better with repeated plays; the main difference between JEW and most every other band out there.
