Along with my mates I wandered into a bar adjoining Blackpool Pleasure Beach 38 years ago...there was a solitary guy dancing wiganesque with a scarf tied round his wrist....and the tune was....1 2 3 4...."dont where you are ....or where you been....you ve been living a life of sin!!"......i was totally mesmerised.....since that day iv been a northern and modern Soul Junkie......and i suppose the lyrics sum my life up!..iv worked with the cast offs and dregs of society as Psychiatric Staff Nurse
