The entire concert was magical, Of all of the concerts I've attended in my life. had I gone to this one it would have been one of my favorites. Check out the drummer. A'int he a hoot! I feel you brother!!!!
Yeah Its Like a plastic cup of cheap champagne with a straw,on a december night watchhing youtube, leaves you alone and pissd az trying to find another vid of that hot buggle boy CHEERS! but seriously ...I LOVE IT .....STILL
I have collected all of Chris Botti cds. and I have found a bad song ..The singers he choses match his style of playing effortlessly, making it a joy to ear and a smile in the soul.
@MARDIUNO an artist is an artist and should be able to play any and every instrument of his or her choice whether black;white;Asian;Latino and everything in between
Music has no race;religion;and especially NO borders

Billy Kilson on drums and Robert Hurst on bass combine to give Sting, Chris Botti and the entire orchestra a magic carpet to ride on. This performance smokes! Especially Kilson on drums. Check his cymbal work.
I love this song... such clever lyrics. I was just playing this song on loop a few days ago and then I find this video of Sting doing Seven Days with my favorite musician! Awesome.
Does anybody know where to find the chords to this song? I realize I could do it myself by ear but what's the point of being lazy with a computer if you're going to do work anyway? This is the first time Google has let me down...
Billy Kilson is a MF! (hear him with Dave Holland, if you would). But this was created by Vinnie Colaiuta - the original drummer in the Seven Days recording. Kudos to Bob Hurst on bass - another MF.
I loved this show. It was great to see Dominic with Sting again. I had the priveledge of seeing Chris live in 06. Billy Kilkson is one of the best drummers ever.
his voice is like hot butter melting on my thighs :)

Botti claims to have the "world's greatest drummer". That's hard to argue with.

Sting's performance is 'incomparable',... if Botti were any better, he'd be a 'deviant'.
The unsung star of this performance is one of the 'sidemen' (as usual).
the DRUMMER just 'kills' this thing.
I haven't heard a drummer this talented since Buddy Rich.
johns1947 10 months ago
Kilson needs to learn that louder dynamics does not mean start over playing

This is a killer concert. Got several chances to check it out on PBS in St. Louis before the release and was blown away.

Sting counted "1-2345, 2-234and"
1 is the first measure, 2 is the 2nd measure, "and" signals to come in on the next beat.

when I first saw them together I thought Sting was Chris's dad...no joke XD

actually this is 3+3+4 (Bartok would probably write 3+3+4/8 as time signature)
