I like to see how a lot in the USA your land is set out into carefully marked grids, quite fascinating to watch. Here in the Uk we don't really map out like that, but in fairness we don't have a great deal of land!! :) Did you ever have the pleasure of a flight on Concorde?
@MrTodd198126 the grid design is mostly phoenix, it's one of the most well designed cities that i've seen in the country. you go to the east coast... it's not as well planned
@MrTodd198126 I wait until the flight attendants are seated before I film. A camera does not emit a signal like a cell phone so it poses no threat to safety. Beverages are your standard juices, coke products, teas and coffee and water.
@mah584jr Thanks for the response! Have you ever been caught and got a telling off or funny looks from other passengers?! Love your videos by the way..
@mah584jr Also... I love the sound that kicks in at about 0:53
It's great to hear that on a flight, can you tell me what it is? Is it maybe just the engines throttling up higher or something else? It does seem to cut off at some points which I have noticed from your other videos...? I have subbed by the way!
@TSBA92 I'm (Hopefully) going to San Diego this year, I'll be flying from London on US Airways, and I'm going to try and get choice seats towards the front, I love that noise too, really gives you a sense of power and speed.
These loud buzzing noises are present in most small narrowbody aircraft. An example of a worse and noisier aircraft would be the Airbus A320 (IAE engines).
@13angelmoney If you sit towards the front of the plane, (Ahead of the engines) you always get that noise, its the "fan" you can hear, if you sit at the rear, behind the engines, you just get the steady rumbling of the jets.
@stitch16261 because US Airways is actually AWE America West, just under the USA name, and America West is based out of Phoenix, AZ therfor i assume the cactus name came from where its based.
@FirstFlight271 yes theres a lot of planes. major hub for southwest and us airways. then delta, united/cont., and american(all the other carriers) fly there too but not as much as SWA and USA.
Awesome video and excellent visual and sound fidelity...especially the way you had the camcorder held down tight so the wonderful video is so nice and smooth!!! THIS is the one very kind of video that promotes excellent relaxation therapy and for me..it does work wonders...in so MMWTO..... I agree with all the other posted comments here....and hope you like mine as well. Agian..I was so glad to have chosen this awesome video....
Does anyone happen to factually know what the take off roll distance is for the 757's? The Take off roll seems shorter for the 757's than other "large" passenger aircraft to me. Probably don't actually matter but i'm just curious. The 757 seems to get off the ground quick.
@RottyFan1 The 757's wings produce the same amount of lift as its larger 'cousin', the 767. Unlike the 76 though, the 75 is a narrow body where as the 76 is wide body. Narrow body=less weight, and less power and runway to get airborne. Factor in other things like the actual gross weight of the aircraft, ambient conditions and all that, and the runway length needed varries.
@LittleDibs Yeah i remember living there and going up on parking garage of terminal 4, and let me tell you WOW, all you see is SWA and us airways, like you said "thats a lot of southwests" they have the entire half portion of terminal four which consists of Charlie, Delta concourses and US airways has the other half
one of the best Video for 757_rb211 I ever seen. Is it possible to download that from some source? I like collecting the most perfect. (can not download from utube :(((
OMG Im going to be there when I fly from LA to Florida to Disneyworld. We are landing in Phoenix. Can you see any of the city from the airport? Also how did you have your camera on? I thought no electronic devices are allowed. Also do they give us free food and what you do to pass the 4 hours in the air?
