  • Easy landing? Darn, thats a bit fast!

  • hey, it's easy too land believe me; for sure that's not an easyglider; but it flies the same. The blizzard is as easy as a funjet is too land. This plane is far from being a hotliner and flutters at high speeds (which is a bit dangerous !). So landing is quite easy, just get the trajectory and soar... as a funjet.

  • is what u have there modified or how it comes? i fly a normal nitro trainer and have a sim. would this be to hard 4 me coz they look fast. if i did get one i would like 2 put an fpv ar a flighone cam on it.

    ty 4 vid

  • not a good idea to put a fpv on this plane, because it lacks of stability. go for a funjet :D

  • great video, awesome tune : D

Just wondering, how is slow flight? ever get her up high, kill the motor and glide? I want something to glide around up hi, but also be a fun/fast plane down low.

    Nuffluv-n-most positive vibes!

    5 starz for da roots!

  • you can't easily glide or soar with such a plane. I would prefer an easyglider for soaring .... and a hotliner (Wilco or Tiger with NEU setup) but not for beginners for fast climbs (on trigger ON/OFF for throttle).

Nice plane; but I prefered my funjet after all.

  • can this be a pname for a beginner in planes?

    i fly helis though

  • no, you have to master the easyglider if you want to get this step further. but if you fly helis planes are EASY AS HELL ! The funjet from MPX is fun; you can overpower it and abuse it... this blizzard is named hotliner ... but FAR from beeing a hotliner; let's say it's a speed sailplane, that's it. nothing more.

  • I wouldn't recomend this plane for a beginner, something like a SuperCub would be much better.

  • How many amps does your setup draw, and what is the amp limit on the motor? I guess you are flying it close to the limit :)

  • where can I get the folding prop spinner 40mm/5.0mm? Thanks..BTW Awesome power on that thing..Impressive

  • Hobbycity :D The spinner fits perfectly on the blizzard

  • hi, would the blizzard be to much to handle coming from an easystar? How does this V-tail work, what is rudder and elevator??

    Nice flying, very fast climbing!

Motor and parts ordered at hobbycity?

  • it's a fun model. yes, everything @ hobbycity except folding propeller. It's a Vtail. 2 servos at tail mixed to have elevator/rudder function on the radio.

  • what power set up are you running

  • Servos : HXT900 9g

ESC : TURNIGY Plush 60amp Speed Controller

    Motor : Turnigy e-drive 2815/09

    Spinner : Folding Prop Spinner 40mm / 5.0mm

Propeller : 12x7" Carbon Folding Prop

    Lipoly : 4S 2200mah (this video : awesome) or 3S 2200 25/30C (fine too)

    Wires : 30CM Servo Lead Extention (4)

    Receiver : AR6200 with a DX7 radio

  • Hi.

The video and blizzad's flight are fine. What is this music under the video?

    Thanks

  • Nice weather! Tried mine on the slope today. Very good performance even with very light wind only 10-15mph. Just waiting for some windy weather now for making a vid.
