  • This was the first episode I ever saw 11:30 at night and I was trying to fight some insomnia. This came one and i was dying of laughter soon after and got hooked.

  • mr humphries at 21:09

  • ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS

  • "Yes, wasn't Frankenstein a German?"

"Could we knock it off, please?"

"She even remembers what she said"

in my opinion television doesn't get any better than AYBS with the exception of SCTV....

  • Omg its Joanna Lumley from absolutly fabulous!!!!

  • @kiele21 yes it is...she was in another episode "his and hers"

  • Mr. Humphries' Lederhosen rode up with wear.

  • I am getting a lot of air but no authority...ROFLMAO...

  • 19:28 ROFL XD

  • Wonderful....was going to write it in German but can't spell wunderbar. Shame we can't be so honest these days. Bless them, they were amazing

  • @stalbanslad You spelled it just fine!

  • camping... subtle, very subtle :P

and leggo my schnitzel Count Poppycock!

  • I wonder what those two are chatting about at 28:09

  • Mr. Humphries is just adorable hehe.

  • Wendy just about cracked up... 9:18

  • I sat here and HOWLED @ their dance esp between Mrs Slocumb and her partner lol. Ty mtwini09 for uploading this hilarious series keep em coming.

  • Joanna Lumley!!

  • Wendy Richard just reeks of raw sex.

  • @432F01 she's in Heaven now

  • @kappelmeister123

    Yeah, I know that.

  • I use to watch this show religously back in 1995, I'd get off workd at 11 p.m. and hop into bed with Mr Humphries to make me laugh and Miss Belfridge to make me ?, ha ha...

  • 12:28 to 13:19 — Classic!!!

  • One of the funniest episode ever.

  • Mr.lucas is very funny and good. Why did they replace him with spooner who was not good.

  • @68hibiscus he;s in Heaven now

  • the dance is so funny! i cant stop LOLing. brings back old memories. i been watching this english tv show since i was a kid. back in the 90's

  • This was one of the best episodes..so funny. You can see the actors hidding their laughs at times. Thanks for posting mtwini09.

  • Do Germans still click their heels at each other?

  • @GoRob I spent 3 years in Germany and didn't see anyone click their heels!!

  • Bottom line this show still rocks. Ive been watching since I was a young boy. I'm 38 now :)

  • @Silverchrome73 Totally agree. I remember this show and watching it in my childhood years. After all these years still laugh. This particular one is a fav of mine. Do they sell the entire episodes , cause here in Greece not around. Take care, silverchrome.

  • I love Mrs. Slocombe's Pippi Long-stockings' hair!

  • Captain Peacock is so skinny in this episode he looks like Pinocchio!

  • A line was cut from this, reason passing understanding... Grainger returns from the elevator after chasing after the German couple. As he gets to the counter he says, "Silly bullnecked Kraut!" How sad! I take it this was ripped from a PBS broadcast and the line was cut as a racially insensitive bit. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

  • @grancazzino ummm no i watched this on PBS and he says that.

  • @Mst3kfanatic1 Well, that's curious then, eh? Why does this "full" episode not have that line?! I still think perhaps some PBS stations might've cut the line as a racially insensitive line.

  • @grancazzino as the second wold war decided, german is not a race

  • Mr.Humphries and Mr.Lucas <3

  • My, my, what a long feather you have, Mr. Humphries >:D

  • This tv show was way before its time! timeless! love it! :)

  • @bajanboy246 Check out "Strong Stuff This Insurance" and "Erotic Fantasies of Mrs Slocombe" they are my favs. This is assuming you havent already seen them dozens of times like me. :)

  • This has to be one of the funniest, non-PC episodes. I could watch this 50 times and laugh every time! Schweinhund...

  • @MarkSentMe LOL, how you could call your boss ein Schweinehund and still have a job...

  • @ghenulo Captain Peacock is not his boss! Mr. Mash belongs to a union, which is obviously better organized and assertive than the union the salesclerks belong to! ;)

  • great episode! thank you so much for posting.

  • 9:34 Hold it together, Trev! LMAO

  • "She wasnt tight enough and i was helping her!!!"

hahahahahahaha! the dumbest excuse ever ill remember that incase i need to use that excuse ;)

  • Mr. Humphry's is awesome...and I love the way he says pussy lol

  • Young Mr.Grace just has his eyes on the sexy girls! LoL :o)

  • the moment read the title andyou see the German flag during the opening credits you know how this episode is going to end

  • Some of the best moments were the phone conversations between Rumbald & Young Mr. Grace...always of mess of communication. And Slocombe smashed.. One of the classic episodes...could'nt do it today with facistic PC mucking about!

  • you could carry a lot of coal in these xD

  • you haven't been at the wine have ya your swaving about alot lmao gotta love mrs slocomb...twiddle his knob somebody

  • OMG Mr. Humphries in those shorts! Looks to me about a size 2, eh ladies? I think he's even got Wendy's tiny size 3 beat! One of the best eps, lolol ^_~\\

  • Gorgonzola isnt german.

  • "I haven't forgotten being flung flat on me back on Clapham Common by a landmine"

LOVE that line. I was in london back in 2009 on a trip with my college and went into a fit of giggles when I saw a sign that said Clapham. Everyone in my group just stared blankly at me, like, "what the hell is wrong with her?" I so badly wanted to go to the common and fling myself on my back, but they gave us next to no free wandering time...but i WILL get back. LOL

  • I adore this episode...any episode where Mrs. Slocombe gets sloshed is hilarious. Molly was such an amazing actress, bless her...she will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.

  • It's not fair to my pussy...lol

  • Everytime Mrs. Slocombe mentions her 'pussy' you can see them trying not to laugh

  • The part were mr grainger said silly bull necked kraut after the german guy left got cut

  • I find Mollie Sugden strangely attractive in her German outfit. Especially at 27:50

  • They're great together. I'ts been long since I last laugh so much.

  • "I refuse to sell german sex knickers!" LOL

  • "Mr. Mash ... Ausfahrt."

  • Wir sind zwar anders, haben trotzdem Spaß dran ;-))))

  • I like mrs. slocomb when she's drunk! Somebody turn his nobs he's out of focus!

  • Ive been watching a lot of the episodes this week and its been a pleasure to enjoy and laugh at the jokes and humour they created. Thanks for posting so many episodes I didnt get to watch them much on the tv at the time.

  • the best part is the meeting after work where the american and german air forces in reference to mrs slocombe being on her back

  • R.I.P. Mr. Lucas!

  • @WitzboldEnnoEinmalig it is not a movieits a comedy series with six programs per series.

  • RIP TREVOR BANNISTER

  • that head of Slocombe at 3:43. amazing.

  • This is funny cause my heritage is German on both sides of my family hehe.

  • When the German guy was yelling at Capt. Peacock I could literally see the spit coming spraying lol

  • Thanks for posting these excellent AYBS episodes, mtwini09. So funny and well-written. Great seeing Joanna Lumley (Patsy from Ab Fab) in earlier days. No wonder this show won fans on BOTH sides of the pond.

  • Thanks for this my husband is playing Nash in a local production of an Are You Being Served play. This German scene features in the play. Rose NZ

  • Thanks for this my husband is playing Nash in a local production of an Are You Being Served play. This German scene features in the play. Rose NZ

  • theyve taken this off our local pbs station. My weekends are a little less fun :(

  • HOLY SHIT ITS JOANNA LUMLEY! <3

  • I had a feeling that was Joanna Lumley. lol

  • I love it how Rumbold always passes off everybody elses ideas as his own. He does that in a couple of episodes.

  • i loved mr.mash. i hated that he got replaced

  • @kajekitty I think the person that played him did and that is why he got replaced but yeah I always liked Mr.Mash

  • Oh Joanna Lumley!! Just think of that woman or the lady from His and Hers being good old lusharific Pats!!

  • i think half the screens gone.

  • What wonderful videos! We can't see them anymore and I miss them so much. I am laughing so hard right now. Thank you for that.

  • "they're well built those german girls arent they?"

    oh mrs slocombe!

  • joanna lumley. <3

she was married to the writer of the show jeremy lloyd. it only lasted five months but i believe they remained friends...

  • Are you Jewish by any chance?

  • Some of this has been edited out. Mr Grangier is suppose to say "we did win you konw" in reference to the war and Mr Lucas is suppose to say to Captain Peacock"You can dress up as Hitler"

  • 4:48 Isn't the woman the same woman that played the His/Her sales clerk in episode 1.5?

  • @BigStickBean3 yeah i think so. Joana lumley i think.

  • @mtwini09 yup thats her alright

  • @mtwini09 correct

  • @mtwini09 who of course is the famous Patsy from AbFab!

  • @mtwini09 Is she the same actress that plays in Absolutely Fabulous?

  • @heatherg282 Yes, that's Joanna Lumley, who was married to writer Jeremy Lloyd.

  • @BigStickBean3 I think Joanna Lumley was also married to one of the writers of AYBS, Jeremy Lloyd.

  • @silvrngold ahhh that explains things x

  • @BigStickBean3 yes it is! Its the actress Joanna Lumley!

  • @BigStickBean3 that woman is joanna lumley a veteran actress

  • @BigStickBean3 tis indeed, Joana Lumley.

  • 1:04 .... I desperately want one of those. O_O Also, at 4:58, I love how the guy goes: "Oh he speaks German!" and starts rambling in it. Hahahaha, oh, people do that to me with Spanish and Japanese. -_-''

  • 1:04 .... I desperately want one of those. O_O

  • Joanna Lumley!! Always great to see her:) ..thanks for uploading this great classic of a comedy!

  • They cut out the part during the meeting where Mr. Lucas suggests that Capt. Peacock could dress up as Hitler. In fact, @ 15:32 Capt. Peacock is just about to say "Let me say here and now, I am NOT going to dress up as Hitler!"

  • Thanks for putting these up.

  • Wendy was about to laugh @ 9:22. She's trying to hold it in. Oh, bless her soul as well as Molly's and John's.

  • @KTBEverlasting I know watching that almost made me lose it.

  • @KTBEverlasting you can see her nearly crack a smile in quite a few episodes, she can barely get her line out about "open and close your mouth" in the Father Christmas Affair.

  • @StoliDassah Yeah, that was funny XD
