100PSI is impossible. it would explode even titanium lol you would need 5 inch thick piping all through-out also you would need the block drop-forged or something to reinforce it. PSI = Heat. Heat = DEATH TO ENGINES your exhaust would melt aswell. the Turbo would also act like a jet engine and shoot a beam of fire in a line. ontop of that. it would more then less likely add so much thrust it would throw your engine off balance and it would eat away at your motor-mounts.. so much for a joke LOL

if you didnt read it above, the 100psi run was a joke with the video just sped up. Is it really that hard to understand. I've only heard of an actual car (skyline) running around 40psi maximum. Even that amount is totally insane for a street car!

the Formula 1 urbocharged cars ran up to 70 psi, i know a cosworth engineer who had a 1.0 litre engine putting out 1500 hp at 19'000 rpm with 72 psi of boost.

the engine would only last about 2 hours at race pace, but that was F1 in the turbo years.

Also group B rally cars ran up to 50 lbs, on stock blocks.

Actually, an engine could probably run 100PSI. If a deformable material like rubber can handle 60 PSI, I am sure a normal alu intercooler pipe could handle alot more. Also, even at those pressures, the turbo exhaust flow would still be a pulsation.

i own like 3 charades a stocko g11 a turbo g11 and a 1995 g202 they are awesome cars u dont need alot of power or a v8 2 have fun ive had lots of fun drivin my charade its had a head problem for 2 years now and still goin great i thrash it like everyday and still hasnt broke beaten a fair few cars in it 2 so stop baggin out the small cars only cause they not a high hp machine or v8

All those who think a small engined car can't be fast should just shut up.

I owned 2 GTti's and they were fast, reliable, great mpg and still kicked most of the 2.0+ liter engined cars.

It's power + weight that counts, not the size.

As to the Swift owners bragging here, the GTti is Daihatsus rally homologation model so it IS a performance car.

You just can't life with the fact that you get owned by a 993cc 3 cilinder, lol.

I took it to the streets and got done doing 150km/h in a 50km/h zone. Needless to say they took my licence away.

It was a 1989 CR Charade, with a few illeagle mods, top speed was somwhere over 180km/h, Thats as far as the speedo went lol.

They really are a great little car, and unbeatable on fuel millage. Perfect sleepers too.

no... thats 450kw with a big single turbo, your thinking of a paralel turbo which like the ones in the GTR and Supra ,the stock twin turbo in an rx7 is sequential meaning a small turbo spools at the low rpm range then at the higher mid rpm range a second small turbo kicks in both which really is more about being alot more responsive then for gaining alot of power
