Here's the thing .I'm attracted to this girl within my class @ high school. I haven't chosen for this to happen .i just really like her & clueless what to say .I'm a good friend with her and don't want to wreck our friendship. Ive tried to let go ,but i have true feelings for her which she thinks is weird going out with someone in her class . please give me some feedback.
E, such good advice. It is what a woman wants as well as what a man looks for in a g/f. Her devotion to God must come first, never date a person who is not a Christian, thus you become "unevenly yoked" as the Bible warns against.
I have given up on the girlfriend thing. I guess you could call me an introvert, but it's not like I haven't practiced talking with others. It just doesn't come naturally to me. I can't carry a conversation with not only women, but people in general.
With that thinking, I feel that not everyone has that one special person out there. And not everyone is supposed to live out their lives with someone. I am one of those people.

being an introvert has nothin to do wit gettin a gf. maybe u cant carry a conversation wit others b/c it seems as if ur trying too hard. if u find someone whose interests match yours than it should be no problem!!!
there are few women out there who have a collection of barbie dolls, stuffed animals, (etc).. even if u don't find one, u can find one who is accepting of your collection. u can always ask God to send u someone who will enrich your life n who u can spend ur life with. It's never too late!!!
True, tanyms123. The basics of getting along with someone is not being one of you being extravert. It is sharing the same views and interests. When 2 ppl share the same views/interests, they will fully open themselves to each other.
It's never too late. Maybe you should search for an event that has something to do with collecting toys. Go out there and speak with some women about the toys. (unless it is enough she accepts collecting toys then she could be found almost anywhere)
My husband and I were just friends for awhile before we decided to start dating. I think it's ideal when you start out as friends first, because you don't want to impress each other. You get to know each other on a more genuine level, if that makes sense.
"Romance" really means nothing if you are not compatible or will not be totally open with each other. No amount of flowers will make up for major problems (e.g. one of you wants children, the other doesn't).
I remember when I was in the train travelling to the city where we were supposed to meet. I came really nervous trying to think what could I talk with her about and what could we do. I have never been so nervous except maybe when I was about eight or twelve taking a bigger exam lol. I haven't been so nervous even in exams. In exams you read the books and know the answers but when you go to meet somebody you don't have a book to read and from which to talk about or something lol
But she never came there. I waited one and half hours for her having no idea what is going on. It would have helped a lot to have her phone number so I could have called here. She said that she did come there but after that I really started wondering that she is lying all the time. Maybe she isn't lying but everything makes it look like that. Well currently I am sure she isn't good girl friend material but it wouldn't have hurted if she had come to meet me. I could have practised being social.

There was this one woman that said that she wants to meet me, I haven't asked to meet her before that in any point. I asked for her phone number but she said she has lost her phone. Either she spoke the truth or for some reason does not want to give her number which women do. We came to an agreement with the time and place of the meeting.
You sound sooo nervous in this video!! You need to chill out and relax. Sounds like you're trying to hurry through the video 'cause you're holding in a fart and you can't wait to let it out.
It wouldn't be too hard to talk about things I am interested but I feel like these things would just get women bored. And I believe where you need better social skills is to actually talk about something you really aren't so interested at all. This kind of small talk that really isn't my thing.
And yes it sounds very logical to first get a friend and then a girlfriend if things work out. I feel like I should get interested of more things and maybe after that it will be easier to get friends.
I have been in churches and there is even this one church evening during weekends where only young people gather. It is a very good service but it isn't any easier to get friends there, I would think it is even harder to get a friend from church because I am not used to speak about religion face to face.
So basically what I need to do is to practise my social skills. The area of topics I am interested to talk about is very limited and usually most of them are found interested only by men.
