ive never tried this program but it doesnt seem realistic (looking) the cars seem to have just been thrown in as a last little tidbit. dont even seem to have been worked on for an hour. simple design no real physics in motion while using the cars.
hey dude... i bought the sim and works perfect for me... but i live in Latin America and i just can't get the TX!! damn I've been looking for it for ages... but i can't get it... it's still very fun and helpful with the keyboard... I want the TX!!!!!! :-( Nice flying!! I am a pro with the f16 and the f15 and I'm in love with the raptor90!!! obviously i practice with "cheap" helis too... I don't think i would ever pay 1k+ for a heli... I need the TX!! i want it!!!! nice vid thumbs up!
@SPIKEwillKILL read the web page in the description... you can download it, and it will be a 1 hour demo until you buy the license... i recommend you buying this... since this is the best RC simulator (in my opinion) Good Luck :-D
mate if you want a real rc car game get realrace G2 its awesome can modify cars and tracks iv also got real flight with all updates you do need a good computer to play either tho with real flight iv got over 260 planes and can modify the planes from a blimp to a harrier jump jet
For the money, Clearview is a real value. As you said Dave, it works well on every computer I have and you buy it once with free upgrades for life. No need to worry about buying v4, 4.5, 5 and etc.
The latest version has a noticeably improved flight model and I like it a lot.
I have that sim but could never get my controller to work right with it and I have tried 3 different controllers cus I have all the adapters and wanted to make the most of them
ClearView works with any controller that shows in Windows Game Controllers - it you have the Tx, you will need usb cable - they are about $8 online. See ClearView controllers page for links.
I Love the Raptor 90, Fury, and Trex 500 helis the best. F-16 and Edge models for the planes. can't wait to download the newest update onto my own computer.
thx for this this is fun even tho all i have if the demo but my mum wont let me buy the real came because she dont trust internet thnx for it tho nightflyer!!!
I have the walkera coax ch46 . this software looks like it will help me . downloading the demo now! Cheers Mr H .your no b/s reviews are always spot on and highly regarded!!
nice video mr. herbert. look slike a really really nice simulator. Do you have to use you own transmitter or does it come with one. thats pretty cool how you can practice on cars helis and planes, anyway nice vid as usual.
@lonstar70 Since ver. 4.10 there is chase mode for 3d landscapes. To get to that mode, load one of the car track landscapes, select "Settings" then "Camera Setup" and select "Follow Up" camera mode.
Real Flight is the best hands down for grafix/realism. Dont get me wrong, Clearview is probably the best for the price as Real Flight 4.5 is $200 , however, the attention to detail and physics seem to be better in Realflight than Clearview. Just giving my 2 cents. Great video as always Dave! keep em coming!
I have RF and had to have a Video card to run too. It wont run on my laptop, which I like to take it to the field. Aerofly won top awards for best, but still needs a good computer and video card. 80 planes and 6 cars on this. This is value. Thanks for the comments.
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I have FMS, Clearview, and realflight g4.5 and I have to say that g4.5 is closest to real flying, based on my first hand experience. Clearview is close but to make it my realistic you have to speed up the time scale to about 125%.
I can fly expert maneuvers in FMS because the physics engine is poor. That program is great to get an understanding of how stick movements effect your plane/heli. It is not even close to the better programs
FMS is so adaptable. The physics engine for each plane is different. so if youre downloading a good quality plane model, then the physics model will essentially be similar to that of higher priced simulators.
After using all three...I can fly expert in FMS and only limited advanced in the other two. FMS is a CHEAP shareware software...obviously you have no clue about that or what a physics engine really it. The physics are preset for each model, but an engine must drive it using the presets giving what type of input you are giving for control. FREE usually doesn't include quality and FMS shows exactly that. The parkzone suhkoi is garbage compared to real life. So is the extra 300. I have both
listen, don get too wrked up over simulators, i dont know whether you like to fly rc planes, or simulate flying them at home on the computer, but simulators are there to teach begginers what each control stick does to the plane, throttle is on the right along with ailerons, and elevator and rudder on the left, thats about it for simulators, the rest is done out there on the field, looking at how other people fly, flying with soemone more experienced via buddy cable etc. CONTINUED BELOW.
CONTINUED and i know wha a physics engine is, its basically how the model flies and reacts with the environment, like drag, lift, speed etc. FMS is only different in that it has simpler graphics and less planes, THATS IT.
BTW i flew on Realflight 4.5 at my LHS today and i was able to fly all the planes in the model library as easy as those in FMS.
You might have to make sure that the crash sim is turned on. I saw it on their forum that you have to have the crash sim turned on in order for it to work. When I did it then the cars worked, but I also have bought the program so I don't know if you can do that on the trial version.
I have a Mac and my Areofly is the only program that will run on it without using Bootcamp. It was pricey but I have learned so fast and just love it. It allows me to use my DX7 too. The Clearview looks cool. Will it run on a Mac? I enjoy all your videos and keep up the good work.
He dude, do you have one? Anything is a tool to a beginner and many dont have the money for the Real flights or Aerofly, let alone powerful enough computers to run them.
So do I, and FS1 and Dave Browns and others. All need cards and computers. Most beginners cannot afford all that. I have RF (used to work for them) and had to have a Video card to run too. They wont run on my laptop, which I like to take it to the field. Aerofly won top awards for best, but still needs a good computer and video card. 80 planes and 6 cars on this. This is value. Thanks for the comments.
There are many parameters that can be changed. Besides, I was running it wide open and trying to flip it. The other cars are way slower and more stable, but you can change the suspension on them. to make them jump too.l
Cool sim. I definitely want to invest in one b4 I start investing in 3d helis. I know it's a real money saver! Was the sim you let me use when I was there the Clearview? I remember that I liked it whatever it was.
I just thought I would post this here since we are talking about clear view. I just upgraded to windows 7 and lost my old clearview install. So after watching this video and the other one you did i wanted to go fly with it. Well I need to reactivate it. So I emailed support and in about 5 minutes I got a reply back and they fixed the problem.I have never had such great customer support in my life before! This software is worth every penny Im happy to say I am happy customer and I'm flying again.
Too slow, cant talk, cant edit, cant see mouse, so I did it this way. See description box to right. Besides, when it is finished processing, there will be a marked difference in quality. Thanks for the comments and good luck with your plane.
Ah OK, after I posted it i started thinking that if you did the recording on the computer we would miss your reactions and you talking. I have been flying with clearview and aeofly and i like them both for different reasons. But I have to say you can tell a skilled pilot even in a simulator. My flying is no where close to yours, you are a true master! I would love to see you do a video on how to do 3d flying with a plane. Thanks for the reply and all your great videos.

can say "No." all you want it doesn't make you right. A little respect needed maybe?
Here's how:
Start fraps, go to "Movies" check "Record Sound", select "Use Windows input" and it will use your microphone as input....
Of course this will record the sound coming from your speaker as well.. so you just gain in video quality.
