I heard this version before actually hearing the Hard Candy version and I must say that this is much better. I hate to admit it though. Would had been great that Madonna had recorded a ballad version that would had stand out much more than the faster Hard Candy version. This is an amazing version. Beautiful song. For me, Miles Away is that kind of ageless songs that made madonna an icon. It reminds me of songs like Live to Tell and would had fit perfectly in my all time favourite album : Like a Prayer . Great cover. Who did this? Sounds like Annie Lennox. It should be a hit also.
