but just cause you can do some keepy-ups (juggling) and tricks it doesnt mean you can play football. i mean in contrast Xabi Alonso cant juggle (as americans put it) but look at his football skills on the pitch he's amazing.

Its all very well doing skills off the pitch but its in the game where it matters most. Nice tricks vid. though.

well, i think freestyling has now become seperate from football. it has it's own following and it's created a culture.

but freestyle can be important for footballers mainly strikers for dribbling..u cant see alonso dribbling everyone on the field..

freestyle gives ball control..see ronaldinho's control..

I agree with that statement I can do about 250 now but at the start of last year I could only aout 10 (if I was lucky) now I am with a team and producing much more quality strikes and I'll tell you this keepy-ups definately help with volleying - as you can practice and develope a volley easily when you can do keepy-ups. Overall I would say it allows me to focus on placement or beating the goaly instead of worrying about if I was going to miss the ball.
