meeting the mortgage on your mcmansion is JUST THE BEGINNING FUKTARDS......YOU HAVE PROPERTY TAXES, INSURANCE, VERY EXPENSIVE UTILITIES HVAC WATER, SEWER GARBAGE AND MISC MAINT....go back to renting,,,,its cheaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You better be careful Dr. Arbitrage: Too much truth in this video. We can't handle it! You are 100% right about integrity and this crisis' lack there of. People need to realize that there are consequences of being stupid and irresponsible. Unfortunately many young people aren't taught this nowadays. And this is only compounded by the fact that the government is poised to bail out these irresponsible people that not only made bad choices but violated the contracts they made with lenders
Do you ppl realize that subprime loans are made every day? Car dealers do it b/c the buyer will more then likely default on the loan. Subprime House loans have been going on forever. This has to do with the buyer being a high risk barrower. THese ppl never stop to check their own pockets. I say loss the house and learn a lesson. Meanwhile I will be watching the three homes on my street for the lowest buy point. Oh yeah, you better believe I'll be ready to make a cheap deal on these homes.
Yes, I'm familiar with Paul. I'm a Mike Huckabee supporter. I think he's the most genuine, palatable & exciting candidate of the group. The "top tier" are empty suits that will result in more of the same nonsense. Huckabee is a statesman and will defeat any of the rancorous Dem candidates in the general election.
Does anyone remember when the Fed funds rate was up to 20% and unemployment was up to 10% and gold was up to $800/oz? After you've seen that, nothing ever hurts again....
Honor, integrity?? This was created by greed and narcissism. It's doubtful people will stand by their financial obligations. Wow! what a complete mess.
Responsibility cuts both ways. (is the drug dealers or the pushers that are to blame?) While the bankers were lax to loan money to people with poor credit the borrowers have to accept responsibility too. I wonder how much integrity people have who borrow w/o knowing how they would ever possibily pay it back? I agree with Mr. Arbitrage but he is asking the average Joe to behave in ways that are way above average.
Responsibility extends to the system as well. A system that allows sub-prime loans to be made to high risk borrowers is not acting socially responsible. How many jobs should a working person take on to satisfy contractual obligations? If you are somebody's landlord, you will answer that question differently than if you are working as a waitress for tips.
