Canada Cup was won by Canada in '76-84-87-91 more then any other country. Canada 70-80% of the time comes out on top with a goal. To me the Canada Cup was and will always be the closest tournament to revealing the true skills. I wish the final would've be more then a best out of 3. Having said this, Russia brought hockey to a new level.

It wasn't our day, just like Caps vs Pens 7th game last year, just like Canadas super star team in 1998 Nogano Olympic games etc. Shit happens and this game will go to history just like every other games between Canada and Russia. Canada cheated in the 1987 game against USSR. I've seen the replays a USSR player was tripped twice and no penalty was called. I know the referees did not see it, I'm not arguing that. But Canada did cheat, because you are not allowed to trip someone. It really baffles me when people say Canada fairly.

look up the stats guys...even the juniors....when the BESTt players of ALL coutries are playing......number 1 is canada...2 russia.......3 has know become american........thats overall......but for the coming olympics.....its gonna be cananda..and the us.....even though the russians have a few amazing players....canada is the ONLY country that could field 2 teams...and probably win the gold and siver......its just facts guys..not disrespect...but the canadians are usually the favorites to win
