DaNTeNBAKardesligi, now and again I make myself to reminence just what exactly it was like just before I could possibly dunk in bball. As soon as I followed the workout program at (50 inch vertical [dot] com) - my game has been improving alot - you have to take a look at it!
@tqdvorak When? On here it may sound quiet. Its the Madhouse on Madison, its loud as hell. Look at the Blackhawks playoffs and how they dominated those other buildings with sound. Its a loud place, sometimes it hurts. But it isn't the ol' Chicago Stadium thats for sure.
The NBA will never see a phenomenon like the 90's Jordan Bulls... you can take that to the Bank.
For 1.... players these days dont develop a jumper like those guys did back then so offenses are more restricted. 2 MJ and that team brought it every night... they consistently put on a good show against good teams, no off nights, even when they passed the ball it was pretty. In today's NBA that bulls team that lost 10 games might go undefeated.
Most Cub fans aren't as delusional as you about how big of fans they are. Longest Piston sellout streak, 238 games. Bulls, 608. Rodman-two rings with Pistons, 3 with Bulls. Pistons intro music rated worst heavy-metal song in history (The Final Countdown by Europe) Oh, forgot to mention 6 championships to 3 and this guard that used to play for the Bulls. MJ, maybe you remember him. So, how did that '91 Pistons team do? Oh, yeah, they got swept & walked off the court like babies.
you guys notice that they listed kukoc at center during this intro/game?!? wow...i think it was a misprint...probably dennis at center. still w/ kukoc at the 4, small lineup
That's an idiotic comment, cause guess what, those Celtics didn't have someone named Michael Jeffrey Jordan. See you don't understand the concept that Bulls didn't need a bench, when they had the single greatest athlete in all of sports, and Bulls 6 in 8 years is as good if not better because they had record setting wins vs better teams, and PS, those 2 years they missed were because MJ wasn't playing. In the end, the Bulls of Mj era, were, are, and always will be the best dynasty.
wow bulls in 5 games? i would think it will go game 7 mainly because of how the celtics play defense. But yea the 96 Jordan no1 could really stop him. also... the rodman vs kevin garnett matchup would be a very interesting. Who ya think will win that matchup?
bulls would win in 5 games, Roman would piss off garnett and the celtics and there crowd and just take them out of game. and then they would go to work on them
No contest. Bulls in 5 games. The celtics match up horrible against the 96 bulls. Pippen was one of the best defenders ever, he would guard Pierce. Jordan a great defender would guard Allen. Rodman on Garnett would be very interesting. The Bulls bench (Kukoc and Kerr)vs the Celtics bench (Brown, Posey). And who could have stopped Mike in 96 taking a game over? Nobody
gotta agree...Rodman was one of the all time greats when it comes to rebounding...in my opinion, no team over the last 10+ yrs would have stood a chance against the '96 Bulls...That includes Kobe & Shaq in LA and the current Boston team...MJ, Scottie, Rodman, and the rest of that Bulls roster would were simply unbeat-a-bull...
You could rotate anyone out of that starting lineup and still contend for the championship yr after yr, as long as you had MJ and Scottie. Glad I was old enough back in the 90's to appreciate those times.
I was at United Center in Dec. 07 and they did this for the start of the ILL/AZ game and Jordan was there. I had seen it on tv a million times. But to see it and feel it, I cried. Da Bulls!!!
don't forget ron harper was an incredible defender as well. jordan, pippen and rodman were all defensive superstars. these guys were for the ages

Bull of 1990s were the greatest NBA dynasty, because they had arguably the greatest athlete ever in all of sports.
firelord5000 3 years ago
Sorry, but even an LA Lakers fan must admit the Boston Celtics run of 8 NBA championships in a row is the pinnacle of what a great dynasty is.
Those teams would wipe the floor with your Bulls dynasty, because they had something you didn't...BENCH DEPTH!

Garnett couldn't hold Rodmans jock! Rodman is the best rebounder to ever play the game.
