Whats your opinion on the goggle strap mount? The local fields don't allow mesh eye protection and didn't really feel like putting on a paintball mask right away. Just wanted to get a second opinion before i decided to put it on a paintball mask.

@VictorSixAirsoft Now THAT depends on your computer. the camera records the same framerate all the tim unless you put it on a different setting. It lagging in video editing software has soley to do with the power of such computer

@pootinhammer Evike for like 80 bucks. That will be as cheap as you can get it. Than they custom paint it. Usually with a stencil and spraypaint.

what do you do to protect your lens? I also use a contour HD and I have a bunch of spare 30 mm camera filters that break when they are hit but they protect the lens so i just take off the broken one and put on a new one...costs 2 dollars every time i break one. just wondering if you found a better method

@DevilsAirsoft It records every detail. it has a built in mic, to go with the HD recording. The video would suck if it recorded sound poorly, or none at all. Make sure nothing hits the camera while you're running. Most of the time it is wind that goes through.

@RAINBOWOPSdotCOM hey.. i just got this today, and it works...sorta... It works fine with the 2gb card included...but with the 2gb card in and set the thing on HI not LO it gets really choppy. So, with the 16 GB card i bought, it doesn't record, turn off, nothing..it just stays on and does nothing.

@Taxemicshadow yeah i have a waterproof case but that thing was like 40 bucks so i dont want to risk cracking it, I have been using these little 30 mm camera filters I get on ebay that thread on. they are like $1.50 apiece and if one breaks, I just replace it

Great overview of the camera. How durable is it? I have heard some helmet cameras lose footage when they get knocked around and stuff, or in most airsoft related cases just broken (lol). Has this happened to you guys?

@Kufspawn This thing is a beast. I've sat on it, dropped it, rammed it into bunkers, etc. and still not even a hint of a problem. I haven't had any BB related accidents (yet) but they have replaceable lenses for pretty cheap (considering).

@NorthEasternAisoft Gun cams tend to record a lot ground footage from running around. If you mount the camera on your face, you get to see everything during the game, not just what you're shooting at.
