I am Korean born Australian in my early 30s. I always knew who Jo Yong Pil was ever since I was young, but I had never paid much attention to his songs until recently. Now I know why he is the King and the Living Legend of Korean music. His songs are absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. It is not only the lyrics but also the soul in his voice which touchs my heart. I particularly like the chorus in this song which reads: "Who said love is beautiful?" He is trying to say that love in fact hurts
I met him on my flight long time ago when he was going from lax to hnL on Korean air flt 005. I was the pilot. He introduced to me that he was cho yong pil. Such a nice person and great personality. Just a great guy. I hope to see your continue success!

As an American serviceman serving 6 years total in Korea 1980-1994, I fell in love with the culture, the written and spoken language, the history, and later a girl with the same last name Cho. Cho Yong-pil has great songs that tell stories in Korean history, one I remember was some east islands off the Pusan area coast. It has been about 10 years since hearing his inspirational songs, glad to be back.

If your idea of being educated is reading bible, then I'd just have to disagree with you. Personally, I think being educated means understanding calculus and physics. Leo Szilard, Heisenberg, Fermi, Einstein, Max Born and Steven Weinberg are the real prophets.

In fact it says the opposite, but you ignore that and keep arguing. You then said that the bible says the sun revolves around the earth. Nowhere in the bible does it say that, but again...you keep trying to change the subject. You made two false statements about what the bible says. THAT is the REAL point of this argument.

Well, I was hoping to have a stimulating argument without political correctness but it is turning out to be a trivial one so I won't get into it anymore. Here is the original statement from me and you can check it yourself. "Do you think we should stone our children to death if they disobey like the bible says. I got news for you, earth is not flat, the sun does not revolve around the earth?" the only thing I linked bible to was the "stoning". The rest are to show the Absurdity of dogmatism.

The bible says the earth is round. I showed you that twice, but you ignore it. Also, the bible says the earth is floating n space...You also ignored that. AND most of all you, you refuse to admit that YOU said that the bible says the sun revolves around the earth. "Four corners of the Earth" simply means in all directions...north south east and west. Everyone knows that...well everyone except you. I guess we should stop using the expressions "sunrise" and "sunset", since the sun doesn't really rise or set. Have you ever used the expressions "sunrise" or "sunset". If so, maybe you should stop because everyone knows the earth rotates on its axis and the sun isn't really rising or setting in the sky. Right?

"Four corners of the earth" is an expression that is still used today. It means NORTH SOUTH EAST and WEST. In other words...everywhere. Your argument is amazingly weak for you to use a stupid example like that.

If you choose to believe in something without empirical evidence, you, then, must give equal plausibility to all myths. God is a myth as is the Santa Clause, as a child you are told of fairy tales but you are supposed to grow out of it as you educate yourself and gain ability to reason. As an American serviceman serving 6 years total in Korea 1980-1994, I fell in love with the culture, the written and spoken language, the history, and later a girl with the same last name Cho. Cho Yong-pil has great songs that tell stories in Korean history, one I remember was some east islands off the Pusan area coast. It has been about 10 years since hearing his inspirational songs, glad to be back.
