this is just saying that the l.e.s. is weakened but it is weakened buy the production to much acid which weakens the l.e.s.The real cause is to much acid.I consulted a doctor on this and he told me that it is an ansyme called helopactorpilory ( not sure if the spelling is correct ) but I took a 7 day regime of pills the Doc gave me and havent had heartburn for about 4 years no joke. consult your doc.
