@codypatton28 it depends on what ur gonna hear the jl audio is more for sound quality and kicker is for spl. I suggest a 12w6v2 it will make ur car shake! And u can't go wrong with jl

Damn make sure you do some research and get what you want. I would look into Fi or DC subs, they are VERY good. Personally I would go for the Fi Q or BL.

thats just the vibrations of the bass against the metal of ur car..they sell this stuff called dynamat (pretty expensice) which is like a thick sheet of tape that stops the vibrations!

It's just the trunk shaking, you can lessen it by getting some sound deadening stuff like dynamat.

im gettin the same system except in a slot ported box tuned for spl and lows, these subs have a fs of 25hz so if you had them in a really low box, you could hit so low

I actually got a new amp, it's a kenwood now, and I'm actually getting 500 watts rms now, my old amp was only actually giving me like 350 or something. I'll make a vid whenever it's nicer outside.

ppl laugh at my fucked up car not all the noise it makes goin by. most ppl dont know much about car audio and subs. they think a 12 inch sounds like two 15's. btw way u hear bass long before the car gets close enough to hear the trunk rattle.

but still, it's impossible to listen to music when vibrating like this. i think your audio should be prepared by someone who knows how to do it, cause connection between the amplifier and woofer is rediculous, so is the amplifier put on the back couch.. man, you really should take care of it

I should have corrected myself, I have a whole new car, with dynamat on the trunk, new amp like I said, and the amp is installed on the back of the seat again, but Best Buy installed it in both cars, so it was installed right.
