Like Cavannaro said it was the music played at the final credits of the game shown in the UK in 86. Like Cavannaro I still dig the video tape out sometimes. Its only taken me 23 years to find out who the record was by lol.
I love this song. I was 11 years old in 1986 when I first heard it, used on the end credits of an NFL game between the Redskins and Vikings. Skins kicker Max Zendejas missed a load of kicks, but they still won the game in OT. Being young, I loooved how the song worked kinda worked for his situation. (okay, not EXACTLY). But I've still got the game on tape and it reminds me of some happy times. Just wish this song was better known - it deserves to be.
