I would recommend either. This is definitely one of B.C. Rich's better guitars (just don't get the cheaper version). I am very happy with it. Of course, I also love Ibanez, and I've never had a bad Ibanez product, including picks.
look away from the guitar from time to time. otherwise it's good :) also move away from the mic a bit, leave the amp there, just cuz i can hear the strings a bit.

i have an iceman and is a really sick guitar. it sounds really good too. lots of sustain and its got dimarzio pickups
