  • A tan suits him

  • The second coming of the Roses very soon ;o)

  • i hope not, why cant anyone let a good thing be. the stone roses are my favourite band, and ive never seen them live, and i never want to. they stood against all that bollocks. its like how they rejected to front for the stones in 89. john squire had it right on that cross art work he did

  • not gonna happen

  • @dibzzz yeah, yeah, yeah... and they'll be on tour with the smiths, and zeppelin. dream on fella.

  • Crack head.

  • Being bullied again mate? There's help out the for you if you want it. Don't feel you have to come on Youtube acting clever to feel better again.

  • legend

  • maddoglinz well said, sick of all these fuckin eejits stuck in the past.Move on hes better as a solo artist any ways.

  • @DotsyOO7 You cannot by any means compare Brown to the Roses. He didn't do it for the Roses or the Glory, btw. It's just something new he did!!! The Roses belong to all time faves catalogue, along with Young Gods, Springsteen, Brassens and, ahem, yes, Panthera!!!

  • ide give anything to see the roses live again

  • 2010 is the year ;)

  • would be gutted if the roses reformed, better to go out with a bang and all that. ian brown has proved his self as a solo artist and is only getting stronger and stronger. john squire chose coke over music fuck him. am also loving primal screams newer stuff leave well alone

  • Well said!

The Roses will never die and any "re-union" would just tarnish what they acheived. I reckon it's due to squire's lack of cash..fuck him. Brownie doesn't need it :)

  • squire rejected it aswell, he did that little cross thingy. and his doing fine for himself, so is mani, dunno bout reni though

  • @zaskar14 Zaskar, where is Squire now?

  • I'm not from the UK, I am American and let me tell you can't get much better than Ian Brown. You English were so lucky, you got the Stone Roses and we got that retread retro poodle headed crap Guns and Roses around the same time. Your average American dumb guy rocker got confused by the name. Fortunately I did not.

  • Ian is one of only a few musicians who sings about things that matter. Lets hope the roses do reform though, before its too late!

  • hahah i love your comment. cheers to my fellow american who also adores ian brown & the stone roses.

  • @23ismagic you stupid asswipe. im british, Guns N' Roses are my all time favourite band, they fucking rock. The stone roses are my second fave band. completely different, I know, but they are both amazing bands, dont ever diss Gn'R.

  • @23ismagic You have, among others, Midlake, Sonic Youth, NIN, Jay-Z, Little Walter, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Blind Willie Mc Tell, Johnny Cash, Lambchop, Eels, Calexico and Neil Young. Don't be sad to have the other wankers the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, John Wayne and the rest.

  • @inspiralroses "Jay-Z" Uh yeah uh uh yeah uh

    Is that good ?

  • @01geTnM Well, not too bad for a beginning, hehehe ...

  • @inspiralroses man, i get what you're saying to the american saying brits have thr roses, brist have it better.

but to up Jay-z in the same paragraph as you flame lynyrd synyrd? you're mad... there is a lot of crap entertainers to complain about in america. i assure you Skynyrd is not one of them...

  • @loknloll Yeah, maybe I am a little bit too hard with Lynyrds in general, but I have quite of a hard stomach ache thinking they diss Neil Young in Sweet Home Alabama and thinking all of them rednecks listen to that and could even cherish such a shit. So that's why I rather prefer Little Feat, they were multiracial and rocked as well, or even maybe Atlanta Rhythm Section, which were cool as well. BTW, I don't know Youngs reaction to LS's dissing. Can you hint me?

  • @inspiralroses amazing response brother! if you dissed the Skynard based on that whole sweet home alabama/southern man neil young thing - if the dis was in defence of neil young, then my hat is off to you, brother. i love neil as much as anyone, musically, ever. cheers geezer.

  • @loknloll Thank you very much, my initial burn was in defence of Youngs work, indeed! In fact, I was slightly shocked when I got over the sentence about Young in SHA. Maybe that's the reason why I was a little bit unfair with Skynyrds. Sorry about that. And thanx for the very welcome response you sent! Enjoy Rock'n'Roll as it deserves it!!!

  • @inspiralroses neils response to the skynard dissing? it was the other way round. neil wrote Southern Man on the After the Goldrush album, an indictment of the southern ''pride'' and the whole slavery thing. LS wrote sweet home alabama as a response to neil, proclaiming the glory of the south. it was all played up in the press, as both acts held each other in high esteem. Southern Man by Young is a top track, and has some profoundly barbed lyrics...check it out.

  • @loknloll Well, I learn from you brother, thank you!!!

  • @inspiralroses my pleasure. we had a little bromance here... haha. better than the usual keyboard warriors and bitching that goes on on youtube though. cheers bro.

  • rly? uve never heard of the stone roses? ure probable not from england
