do y'all still fish there? i was in this exact spot today and there was no signs of fish. it looked very shallow but there was one pool where the water forks off once its past the resturant y'all are in front of that looked very promising

Not huge for a stocked fish but great fun on the fly rod. How close was this to the aquarium . Great catch !

They stock bigger fish in the winter. I heard they only stock brood trout.

Sometimes the biggest ones are in spring im local anf fish the burg all the time

i am in gatlinburg now and the river is to shallow

Yep, been pretty dry lately. I mostly fish that river from Dec to March. They still stock it each Thursday despite the low water level.
