@sujhely Fine . Maybe I am being a little harsh by calling u musically retarded, but my point (on that day) was that many people who listen to other kinds of metal can be very close-minded. I'm a big metalller, but i'm also into Feeling other kinds of music--and, I've seen NIN a bunch of times, cuz they are one of my faves, too. Maybe the problem at this show you went to is Trent Reznor's bad descision-- why pick Boris to open up at a NIN show--they aren't mainstream?!

Not to mention the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, Clapton etc. were really just a big collective of influencing eachother in the late 60's/early 70's. Denying the Beatle's impact on music is just plain wrong, and they probably had an even bigger impact on rock than they did on pop.

2nd Not necessarily. The BEATLES will be remembered for their songwriting in my opinion, even 200 years from now. Nobody crafted rock & roll songs like Paul, John & George until they came along.
Just like how nobody played guitar like Hendrix until he came along. Music is interpretive & it will continue to be re-interpreted, which is why new music isn't all bad. Some music just follows the same formula & it's boring, but commercially that's what sells.

@ NukeMTV: Firstly, this song is NOT sludge or drone. The thing you have to realize w/ Boris is that you never know what you're gonna get. They change genres all the time and are really experimental. Sometimes they do drone, sometimes they do psychedelic rock, sometimes they do hardcore punk, etc. They never stay in one style, the combine styles and even then they never stick to the boundaries of styles. So I'm sure you'd like something by them. Just gotta listen to some more of their material.
