FFT - Cloud Cherry Blossom

Even with Short Charge, most of his Limits take way too long. Also, most of his Limits use his MA stat for damage. Why oh why.

Cloud would have been better if he'd had a bit more tweaking... Take, for instance, if he regenerated mana when he got hit and his Limit techniques used mana instead of requiring Charge Time? Or if the Limit he used was dependent on his HP?

when ff7 first came out, i read in a gamepro magazine that Cloud had the cherry blossom as his ultimate limit break on the japanese version of ff7 but they removed it on the american version. i wonder why they did this. i wish i could see Cloud using it

cloud haters can suck some **** but his moves were shit id say long charge time and its a area attack only not a unit which makes it easy to dodge - - and about orlandu kickin clouds ass he can in this game cause orlandu is a over powered character

lol true while cloud takes like 100 turns to cast cherry blossom orlandu can brake his weapon or just rape him with a crush punch or lightning stab. cloud to me is more of a trophy character rather than a usefull combat guy

you'll eventually get agrias and orlandu, and both are very good

agrias is good when you first get her but honestly thought orlandu completely replaced her because hes so much more powerfull with his FULL array of skills and funkymonkey make ramza a monk and master that hes so powerfull haha i loved that game <ff tactivs3

That's actually a spin off of one of the Magic attacks from Final Fantasy VII, where one of each "Element," per se, (since neither games revolve around an actual element based attack where Water > Fire, ect,) would be produced in a scene like that, repeating after eachother.

My favorite attack in Final Fantasy Tactics. It looks and sounds really cool. Although very slow, it's the 2nd strongest attack in the game.

from what i've seen and heard, there would be an ability called non-charge, i think the people who made the game took it out because it would make any charging attack be used instantly

Not really. With short charge the only 3 limits take a while to charge are Meteorain, Omnislash, and Cherry Blossom. Cross-slash and Finish Touch have above average charge time, so those 2 are the most useful limits in my opinion.

You're right, I said that part wrong, but I am sure it's based off that Kjata attack Tetra Disaster (read it in a Japanese magazine.) I also heard it's the 2nd strongest attack available in FFT (Zodiac being first.)

That's correct, I think Kjata use also the earth elemental because its attack end by an enormous earthquake.

I think in the original Japanese it was Tri-Disaster (like it was for Valigarmander/Valigarmanda in FF6). I think Tetra was a mistranslation, because although he stamps his feet on the enemy at the end, I don't think that actually counts as an earth-based attack

I'll also like to add this note about the Cherry Blossom limit if anyone who played FFT hasn't notice yet. The attack is base off the summoner Kujata (which uses the 4 main elementals lightning, ice, earth, and fire) in Final Fantasy VII.

Cherry Blossom - most powerful limit skill. I remember speaking with one of the guys who created FFT, he said this is one of the strongest attacks availible on the game (another is zodiac as a summoner.)
