From a theological point of view, you could say that the people who make the music have a ministry to reach a particular group of 'unsaved' people. What is wrong with that? If you have a problem with it, then it should be with other Christians listening to it and not the musicians for making it.

No what matters is the intent of the band and the lyrics they write,if they have chrism in their hearts and write metal music for him then it is not satanic. God can use anything he wants to get his message acrossed and if it takes music that the general media has deemed satanic. No music is satanic but the message behind it can be that is what makes it satanic not the style. It would be like a satanist singing gospel music for Satan you wouldn't say that is christian because it is gospel.

Also not ll songs that mention satan are satanic just as the bible tells tales of him so can a song without being satanic. Saying a song is satanic is really a trong statment.
