I visited the Catacombs of Paris and did not see any ghosts. It's an eerie place with long corridors with bones on both sides, water dripping from the walls ( it had rained the night before), and tons of bones, skulls, femurs etc . There are altars also along the way. It is very deep below the streets and I wonder how much disease is kept in those remains since there is so much humidity . It has plenty of light from light bulbs or it would be completely dark.I thought about ghosts also.

Imagine the horror inside there...first,..its a HUGE place, you could get lost so easily in there. Second, its dark, its pure darkness. Not a single speck of light is in there if you run out of battery. And last, most hallways are narrow and not very high, so you feel extremely claustrophobic....and then to all that add the fact that you're surrounded by 7 million dead bodies...no matter how unreal the ghost might seem to you now, when you're there, it doesnt matter. You'll be scared to death.

They may be haunted but my cousin went in their alone and without a tour guide and was perfectly fine. Did not get lost and never found again. he was just smart and made sure he knew exactly how to get out. he did not see or hear or feel any ghost but did say at times he felt he was being watched and felt like there was another presence with him, but feels even that was mind over matter.

i will tell you the directions on how to get to the entrance, it costs 4 euro's to get in and you can't get lost in the area they have set up. unfortunately you cant take flash pictures down there so you better have a good camera.
