people selling the usbs for £40-£80 are having a laugh! Not all games work SFIV for example I want to backup but its pointless because it don't let you start the game with the start button to be able to play it. Would be fuming if I paid for a dongle which is not 100% able to let you back up any game. This is what its about, I used this on my n810

once you install backup manager on the ps3 hard disk can you disconnect the phone from ps3 and use external hard disk to play games? or do i have to connect phone each time i want to play from external hard disk?

@Odenkay Sues them for what? Its not illegal to mod your systems in order to play homebrew. It just breaks the terms of service, not a law. Now when you start stealing games is when you break a law.

@micracruiser Playing backups is currently disabled, it's easy to enable though.. but I'm working on a way to have it configurable. the backup manager will load though, and you can make backups of your games already. backup manager can be downloaded from many websites, just google for it.

@kakarotoks so i have backup manager and i can backup games, but i just can't play the backed up games right ? although can you give a summary on how to play backups if you know ? (just anything, google isn't doing the job)

I have a PS2 that makes it so I can play my backups offline, but if I want to play something online, then I have to actually buy the game.

Will this work for the ps3? To me, that seems fair :).
