OK. Is it much easier to trials with a proper trials bike? or is it really all dependant on self skill?

i fail on my mtb, im curious to know if its any easier on a proper trials bike, and if so, how much for a decent one?

and also, my main problem when trying to balance is falling to the side.. e.g

i have my front tire on a small ledge, say.. 30 cm high, and my back wheel on the ground, how do i stop from falling to the side? more trackstand practice?

You need a trials bike to be able to do this stuff.

I'm getting a new 20" Onza at xmas, and seriously, it's not possible without a classified trials bike.

try moving your knees back and forth, it takes practice... i use a Mtb-

Mountain bike. and it works good trials bikes are expensive so get a good Mtb with a low profile frame (and a sturdy one) that is also light. hope this helped :)

uhh....the bikes have 2 brakes 1 for the front wheel and one for the rear wheel and the bikes are special for that and its called trail

its actually called a Trials bike, they are special bikes designed for the type of riding this guy is doing... yes, they have 2 brakes... its a pretty difficult sport to learn, but once learnt, its fucking fun! lol

krakeling: it's a trials bike. the less air in the wheels the better the traction, the rims are extra wide to prevent pinch flats like on a regular bike.
