Number one songs mean nothing-getting to no.1 has everything to do with luck, over-promotion, record company bullshit, taking your clothes off and being Madonna! It has NOTHING TO DO WITH QUALITY! Hello world, for every decent song that averages the top spot, a thousand better ones will never even be released nevermind miss by a mountain drop! Who cares. One of the best omd´s songs and mainly unknown for the audience! I heard this song for the first time when I was in France in 2005, in Bretagne and I felt so impressed because I didn´t know it, it was in a greatest hits album with 2 extended versions: we love you and this one. Great groups always have some unknown song that turns to be one of my favorites even if it did not reach a number in the charts, the important is what a song can make you feel

as a big omd fan i like all the stuff thetve ever done but good as albums like the pacific age and crush are i think they were an attempt to break america and didnt do as well as the early stuff however they did do well in america for a while with so in love and secret and if you leave was top 5 on billboard

i remember hearing thi song when i was in Bretagne (France) three years ago, i bought the hits of OMD and quite impressed with this original song, elegant, soft and the particular voice of OMD, it brings me good memories , OMD are fuckers of 80´s like Duran Duran or Spandau
