Huh is right, please only ask questions if you know what you are talking about. Under normal launch situations the fuel would be pressurized for maximum burn to thrust ratio. As Paul said one "nos tank as you called them" is actually a tank of helium pumped behind the Liquid Oxygen forcing it out in a strong and steady rate. The other tank is nitrogen being used for the same purpose on the fuel. In launch situations the fuel & LOX would be pre-pressurized for launch and they would not be needed.
OH and I almost forgot to ask Paul do you know if the intent for this LP-System will be Pre-Pressurization or the use of pumps? I saw an amazing design at JLP for a system that used one pressure tank and no mechanical pumps to creating pumping action for both tanks.
hey me and my friend are tryong to send a rocket into space we have been playin around and we have some very long burn time for example we had a 4 inch motor in length and 1 inch in diameter burn for 78 seconds but it was made with kno3 and i dont think that it will give us the thrust to get a big rocket up there. i was wondering how you did this. please reply. thanks, by the way this was amazing great job
Big thank you from troop 107. Thanks for letting us sit in the bunker. Hoping you have plenty of LOX...LOL! Good Luck and much successful static fires! - Big hair Bobby (Troop 107)

why should you pressurize LOX with helium?
and how did you pressurized fuel??

Cool rocket motor, I could see the mach diamonds in the exhaust. A burn like that would take anything light enough into space.

in the correct size vehicle i would thing this could probably get it into space.

Look in the back.....nos tanks...lol is easy make burn for all the time..... is fake.......
denomulos 3 years ago
Actually one of them is nitrogen to pressurize the fuel and one is helium to pressurize the LOX.

Is your reply directed at me or denomulos?
r0ckt3hc4sb4h 3 years ago
it's a reply to denomulos who said the video was "fake" when it is clearly a successful test.

That's unbelievable...if the motor was only 1 foot long...you got so much weight piled up on it, though.
