  • wow shitty song such a ripoff of metallica

  • @cooliovasquez

They made a song called Fade To Black in 86` XD

Just so you know that :P

  • @donSparda wow and this song is a shitty ripoff of whiplash

  • @cooliovasquez

Well, 86 wasn`t a perfect year, after all..

  • He was 15 years old when he joined metallica.. so maybe 14 or 15 there..

  • @bmxlovecoke im sure he was older than fifteen when he joined metallica.

  • @bmxlovecoke Um they do not allow 15 year olds to play in bars. He was older.

  • @bmxlovecoke i always thought Jason was the youngest member in Metallica, he certainly looked it, but Jason is a year older than James, and Metallica first started when James was 19 (so already you make no sense)

Jason was the oldest member when he played in Metallica, so Jason was..... 24 when he joined Metallica, which makes him 22 or 23 in this video

    you're a retard.

  • @williamtrevormcneil yeah when jason joined the band all the other members reverted to the age they were when they joined

  • @williamtrevormcneil Sorry wrong again, to the both of you Jaymz 1963, Lars 1963, Kirk and Cliff 1962, Which really makes Cliff the oldest that was in "Tallica. After Cliff died, Kirk became the oldest in years, not state of mind. Jason played in F&J for almost 5 years. He moved from Battle Creek, when he dropped out of high school in 1981, to Phoenix. So really Jason in the video was about 21. When he joined 'Tallica he was 23 years 7 months and 7 days old. Trust me!

  • That was pretty poseurish, but thrash nonetheless.

  • hahaha they had a dance XD

  • JASON COME BACK!!!!

  • who gives a rats fucking ass about newstead?? This is fucking FLOTSAM AND JETSAM no loss if he wasn't in their band...

  • He was in their band and he sucked just as bad then. We used to go their shows and throw stuff at them.

    They were horrible.

  • if this sucks you are not metal

  • LOL

Oh no! Boo Hoo! If I don't like what you like I am not metal.

What are you 5 years old?

I do not classify myself by a genre of music.

I do know good music when I hear it.

Newsted was always the joke of the town because he is all ego with very little talent and nothing has changed sine the 80's.

  • funny how this no talent dude whent on to play in one of the biggest or the biggest selling so called metal band metallica, if he was the joke of the town i guess now the town is the joke, not saying hes a great or amazing bass player but he does the job and flotsam was true metal

  • Just because something sells well does not make it good. Metallica had a few good songs but most of their sales came from the fact that they became a brand name. Take KISS for example, I love KISS but I have to admit that their lyrics are atrocious and corny. But talk about sales Whoo Hoo!

Listen to this clip above, Flotsam and Jetsam where the loosest band in town.

It's not even intentionally rough and dirty, they are all just ignoring each other and running around like chickens.

  • i agree in part but metallicas first 3 albums are classics and are great metal albums and as far as jason i dont think he even cares what we think. i like flotsams doomsday thats all. im old school metalhead

  • We all like what we like.

Like they say, No accounting for taste.

    Yours or mine. LOL

  • well cant argue with that ,its true.

  • NICE!! Jason Newsted and a red G&L bass

  • i dont think there is jason really

  • Oh, it is. He played in Flotsam And Jetsam before he joined Metallica. This is the band. Also, they play "Hammerhead" which is the opening-track of "Doomsday For The Deceiver" which is the only Flotsam and Jetsam album he recorded. That album is a classic.

  • if you wacth the complete set,the red bass fucked up in the song the beast within.

  • ohhh jason !! 5 stars!

  • rare

  • what the move!

  • The fuck? Seriously, how did they find Jason?

  • this is his first band (or close to it) they prolly grew up in the same town

  • They are from Scottsdale, AZ and Kelly the drummer was my ex-wifes neighbor. We used to party with these guys all the time in the 80s. They were down to earth and very pleasant guys. I don't think their success ever got to their heads.

And a little bit of informatio not readily known unless you grew up in Phoenix, before they were Flotsam and Jetsam, they were called The Dogz.

  • shit!

  • Please hit a ratings star upon leaving thanks for your response.

  • That song was "Hammerhead," from their first album Sooooo good!
