You whiny WWE haters! Sure, there were some sorry moments with these guys there, but they still got to rock solid 7-10 minute matches on Smackdown and Velocity! And we got to see it more often. One of the things I dislike about WWE is that they reduce these great wrestlers into stereotypes and not focus on their wrestling abilities. ECW fans respected the wrestlers no matter where they came from.

In ECW many talented guys were jobbers but the fans were not such smarky assholes back then. Jobbers like New Jack, Tommy Dreamer, Whipwreck, Tom Marquez, Simon Diamond, EZ Money and so on. But it wasn't the end of the world if a guy jobbed a lot. Now smarks seem to think a guys career is dead if he jobs. Jerry Lynn has spoken many times about that. He jobbed most of his career. including at first in ECW till he got involved with RVD. Even put the young punk Credible over 11 in a summer.
