  • So when are you going to do some more mate?

  • the video quality doesen't seem 1080p ....

  • I wish Ducati could have a 'piss on a harley' option out the rear end...

  • Is it the 1080p gopro ? Because honestly the video quality is very crappy.

  • @toocoolforu That was not recorded at 1080p, If I remember correctly it was recorded at 720p. I know that Youtube does convert the videos so maybe that is the issue? Did you see the option in the bottom right of the window to choose a higher resolution??

  • @shutterbuggery Yeah I did, oh well, must be the crappy youtube codec converter.

  • Haha Awesome Video, i just got a Aprilia RS125 but next year im getting a GSXR750 :D

  • i honestly thought GoPro would look much better in HD , to me is , well average recording

  • ...I have a 996 Ducati...with Titanium Arrow exhausts...simply th e best bike i've never owned...

  • sounds like a caterpillar

  • mic the bike, sync with the video in Pinnacle or something.

  • awesome bike, one day i ll have one of these hehe.

    greetings from Brazil-

  • @pcaramico2000 Hellow Brazil, and thanks! Keep an eye out for a low mileage used one. That's what I did and I got it for less than half of the original price... with only 3,000 miles on it! Good luck on your search.

  • according to GoPro's website, you should be able to hear a bikes engine over the wind up to 85 mph. that definately didnt seem like the case here. the sound on the HD is alot better than the other models but is still pretty mediocre.

  • @FabrezeFRESH I have learned that the problem was the placement behind the windscreen. It was apparently getting wind from behind which it wasn't designed to deal with. When I mounted it off the side of the bike the wind noise was greatly reduced. I will post of more samples soon. This video was recorded on a borrowed camera. I then bought one for myself and it had color issues. I returned it and they fixed it really fast, but I have yet to get out on the bike again.

  • Nice test. Was uploading an issue? What video setting are you using? Are there different audio settings too? I know the audio on my regular GoPro seems much better, and that wasn't even behind the windscreen like this. Can't wait until I'm able to track the SPS. Now that will be a nice video--especially at a bigger track like Road America.

  • @plus790, Uploading was easy for me. I am using Adobe Premiere Elements for video editing and it has a built in function for uploading to YouTube. As for settings, I believe that this one was recorded at full 1080p (though not uploaded at that resolution). I haven't found any different audio settings but Ishot this with a borrowed camera with no manual. I think that the windscreen may have been channeling wind directly at the camera on this run. I'll do alternate placement later.

  • otherwise great video, im picking up my ducati this week, its a s4r, same engine as the 996 though.

  • Sweet bike! Congrats!

  • you own a ducati, and you say the sound is "pretty good." You should rethink what brand of motorcycle you are riding

  • unless of course that is sarcasm which im sure it is ;D

  • i guess he meant that the recorded sound by the camera was pretty good

  • Schaaf is correct. The purpose of the video was a review of the camera used (GoPro Motorsports HD). I purchased the camera for the purpose of doing motorcycling vids so where better to test it?
